Hi can you propose which item to be used ? Present premises is 3,000 sft single floor condominium. Difficult to get wifi coverage all over the unit. Worse when we close the bedroom doors. Thanks.

Worse when we close the bedroom doors. Thanks. If you got the money to spend, the setup below will work really well. You will need Ethernet drops to connect the AP anyways. 3x UAP-AC-PRO, US-8-60W and USG hooked up to your existing ISP modem. For a lower budget solution, just get an Asus router and run powerline wireless extender.

Also powerline doesnt really work as unit as unit running 3 phase electricity. Any alternatives ?

FYI - expect that the UBNT Unifi range will become increasingly difficult to get in mainstream settings in the coming months. TM has successfully won a court case against a/the UBNT distributor barring them from selling products with the name Unifi in them as while it's a US trademarked product, Unifi is trademarked in Malaysia and may cause "confusion" as while one is a service and one is a product, they both are IT/networking/etc related.

Wow, the situation really became worse, last year, TM took down the UBNT Unifi app(for connecting to controller and managing AP) from the Play store because collide with their own app. If you want to download the app, there's a thread on the UBNT forums about it, https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Wireles...ry/td-p/2114998Haih.. like this also can.. is there any way to get around this?

Please refer to bottom link. It does work like repeater and extender. The only different is, these AP is centralized controlled. So it just one time configuration and easy compare when manage individual AP what router you use? and what kind of wall the house have? looks a bit spacey house UAP AC Mesh ExplainThis post has been edited by pandera999: Jul 13 2018, 02:08 PM

got my ERX couple of days ago and set it up, seems pretty straightforward, already massive improvement to my network, but looking to replace my archer c7 and c1200 with either 2x UAP AC or 2x nanoHD if they become available...

QUOTE(mintgadget @ Jul 13 2018, 02:56 PM) will the new nanoHD be a good choice for gigaspeed connection compared to the LR or Pro yes. its 4x4 on 5Ghz network.. it is good. but for 2.4Ghz.. it just 2x2. but these days... most mobile phone can support 5Ghz... so not an issue.. good for high dense connectivity that demand 5ghz connection. QUOTE(pizzaboyj @ Jul 13 2018, 02:58 PM) probably the best bet, but you cant really get nanohd in malaysia atm right? price wise have. yes... but the unit itself, i haven seen it yet. only UAP AC HD

Stupid quiesrion. How does this device connects to my existing WiFi ? Do we use the app to select existing ssid than key in the password . Now using d-link router provided by time. It’s a condominium around 3,000 sft. Last time when I do renovation the contractor got hard time drilling holes as he say the walls are dense. So I suspect this is reason why diff to get good signal. So u think this device able to provide the signal ? How about the uap ac pro ? Can I plug it to the existing time d-link router and it would solve the problem ?
