Location A = Fiber time router (300MBP) > NBE-5AC-16 AP mode
Location B = NBE-5AC-16 > Router. station mode


Is that correct for mode selection ?

What kind of throughput are u expecting out of this setup? I am planning to deploy similar setup but times 10 range and maybe no line of sight whatsoever. Not sure if its even possible.

It wil definitely be charged gst bro. Uap ac pro will need sirim approval. Do yr comparison after price+shipping+gst. Mind you they dont calculate for u. Do it yrself. If the price difference is significance then it might be worth it. U do have to drive over to sirim office to get approval too. Once it arrived u will provide the documentations to customs. One more thing, if u are buying off amazon. Make sure u get uap that is international version. If u accidentally bought the us version, u will be disappointed to see the less powerful wifi strenght. Usually i will take arnd 2-3 weeks to look around the internet to look for the best deal so i would still save a lot after gst charges. I hope this helpes.

It is a simple enough config.

QUESTION:
1. Will be changing to Time Fibre next month. I want to check on the vlan for TIME. (eg: unifi= 500 / maxis fiber= 621).... what's for TIME?

2. I suppose the rest of the setup is as per wanttotree instructions for unifi and maxis...?

There is also a side function that edge router-x owners can do to enhance the speed of your internet - hwnat offloading enable. see youtube video on using cli or config tree to enable this function.

The last part of the video also shows passthrough poe - basically u can use the 24v injector (supplied together w any ap-ac) and use it to power both edgerouter-x and ap-ac (so u just need only one power plug).
