sorry if this is OT, but I'm trying to source for UniFi Video NVR which has been discontinued.

any chance of members having a new or used unit to let go ? fine with 512GB or 2TB.

Why not just use UniFi Protect? The old one is using UniFi Video AFAIK

Protect is RM2.5k ? See-ing how fast Ubiquiti made their Video NVR obsolete (including removing the app from app store), not willing to spend more and end up getting stuck again !

I just want to get my 20 G3 cameras back to recording sad.gif

Yes.. this make everyone piss off actually... NVR obselete... now with protect.. another thing to consider is that apps have UniFi words also problematic in Malaysia region... So far UniFi Access and UniFi LED still can be seen in apps store..
unless go singapore download those apps.. if want mobile setup... or, just webui...

alternatively - UCK GEn2 Plus for you.. but data retention maybe low.. since 1 hdd bay.. max 5gb can be install.

G3 camera still relatively new.. but ubiquiti really idk what to say on camera surveillance side.. cheaper invest on hikvision or dahua..

Ubnt cctv solution is quite pricey. But hey if you have a Synology NAS you can use their surveillance system. Might need to buy a license to add more than 4 cameras though. Else you might want to install it independently on a server. I myself using UniFi Video on my linux VM.

I heard there was an issue between Ubiquiti VS Telekom?

because of the usage of UniFi word right?

is it all settled now?

tm should stick with the name tmnet. in era of dsl, 1st they use tmnet streamyx, after divorcing, they just use streamyx name without tmnet anymore. biggrin.gif

then come unifi which i should say ubiquiti used 1st because i remember when tm launch the 1st unifi advertisement 10 years ago, if you google that word, it will show ubiquiti as a 1st result.

The configuration is not hard?

But it's not as simple as Google WiFi or Tp-Link Deco setup right?

Those are really just plug and play

slightly difficult if compare in that way then.. but for sure.. similar principle... as long as it has UI... no problem... the good thing is, it allow CLI where you can freely do custom config.
you can watch some youtube and you will get some info how you would like do urs.

I never tried with NPS, but I do pair it with radius server in my mikrotik router. What issue do you have with the NPS? Maybe we can help here.

long setori boss...

currently having issue with AD NPS authen with comms block.
There are some issue when use assign VLAN based on Rad Auth..then, the content filtering somehow block network between user that auth using AD and the server.
also, random packet drop whenever devices put on sleep, then recon back using AD.. idk if its bug or somekind other issue..
try to work around and in the end, i jz decide to stop investigate it... using static vlan anyway mega_shok.gif no time to find the root cause. grumble.gif
