anyone manage to integrate captive portal for ubnt unifi series?

Hi, sorry I am new here but I am looking for ways to increase and stabilise my internet speed. Currently being tortured by streamyx unstable internet connection eventhough I paid for their 8mbps package. Can this be a solution to my problem? I stay at high rise town area in Penang (Don't need hypptv)

Sorry i am unfamiliar with the technical term but i have an idea like this. If i apply for a unifi line at a friend place and beam the connection via WiFi to my place is it doable ? Can a house apply for 2 unifi line ? Or maybe one Streamyx and one unifi line ?

Any method to transfer my internet from my house to office. Distance is 2.88km and is within eyesight.  Which setup i need to buy?

Yes. Guess I get the X and a switch locally then. With the current currency strength + kastam,      I probably get them locally if someone there is someone bringing in unless no one is bringing in, then I don't have a choice but to just get them outside the country. Thanks for the advice

Dear all sifus here, I wanna ask is anyone of you using LBE-5AC-23 Ubiquiti LiteBeam AC 5GHz 23dBi AirMax CPE WiFi UBNT Bridge before?

What I'm trying to do is this:-
- use it to beam(LBE 1) the signal from TIME 500mbps Building A to Building B which is 1km distance (view from google maps)

- Building B receive the signal(LBE 2) and transmit it to another unit of LBE-5AC-23(LBE 3) by using CAT6 Cable

- (LBE 3) will beam the signal to Building C (LBE 4) which is 1.2km distance (view from google maps).

Anyone has done this setup before? Please advice whether it will works or not and also advice on setup guide if can..

I'm not so sure about PTMP setup, will it affect the speed or signal? For example I'm subscribing 500mbps Internet, how much will it left in Building C?
And then, my current setup is building B will has 2 unit of LBE-5AC-23 which 1 unit going to do receiving then send signal to another unit by using CAT6 network cable..

Need some advice. I'm planning to deploy 3x UAP-AC-PRO to cover my 4000sf office.

I have Maxis Fibre fixed IP. For router side, I can't decide to go with Mikrotik or ERLite-3.

Can any pro advise? I not sure read some where mentioned ERLite-3 not support PPPoE, which I find not very logic.

I have vlan tagging disabled in the tm modem. Is fixed ip pppoe working fine with ErLite-3 ?

They are not in the same league, they are much more expensive as well. Not to mention that you need a controller to unlock the full potential of those system. UBNT is more on SME I believe.

I heard the new AC HD from UBNT is pretty good performance wise. May use it to replace some older Ruckus if it is that good.
