I am also vista user and so far so good and I try some online game still ok.
To take advantage of the 64 bit, you can also use xp pro 64.
But if you pro gamer, I suggest you go for dual boot since not all games can run on vista for sure.

How to claim the BenQ warranty? Is it just walk in the service center and say I want to claim warranty? My dvd-rom shok shok 1,sometime can play well the music but sometime got "crack" "crack" sound. yawn.gif

u can call the benq service centre they can come to ur house n do the collection .. ^ ^

That symptom is normally cause by a busted dvd drive. One of my friend just claim the hp warranty base on the same problem, when playing mp3 or audio cd got crack sound. They just change a new drive to him.

hey guys, I was recently recommended a benq joybook s73 if i'm not mistaken by a friend who works at a PC store when i asked him about laptops. I'm going to buy a machine soon for video editing usage. is the s73 enough? i heard he told me that some guy ran WoW at 1280x960 at full specs and it was smooth. so is the s73 good enough or should i get something else?

ya i think it is good enough for video editing....as i can run C&C3 in high detail setting, 1280x800 smoothly.... whistling.gif

If you want to turn it off, you can goto Control Panel->Sound
Under playback tab, double click Realtek Digital Output then it will Open Realtek Digital Output Properties, you just choose Levels tab then mute it.

no problem ..playable in X1600 wit high resolution lol ..

geforce 6100 woh ..is integrated ma ..sure cannot support .. is better the GMA950 abit onli ..in vista ultimate index it get 1.0 //..lol

ya hehe ..juz tell them wat u experience lo ..

hmm ...u can backup ur file or lock ur os ..usually they dun touch ur os ..coz after replace dvd rom they will have external tester to test if works anot ..llol

do u guys know benq specs for santa rosa?? im looking for a lap to last at least 3 years of gaming and usage..but since s73g might stop producing, have to look for alternative liao with a budget of below 4k.
