Hi guys. Is it normal to be able to turn on ur player and play music while the key is not even in the ignition on the standard persona?

I just installed 2 speakers at the back and just noticed that I can do that.

I also had problems with starting my car even with the clutch fully pressed in it took me about 2 minutes before I could start.

*I just had the car for 3 days.

I usually did not turn off the player, if key's not in, the player is not playing.

I suspect Stop light switch is the culprit... did the car even crank? Last time SA told me after turned on the power, have to wait like 3 seconds before starting the car, this would help avoid making the system hang... so from that day onward I just wait 3 seconds before crank the engine.

Something to note, installing 2 speakers at the rear require wiring which will risk of losing your entire car warranty.. so if you're sending the car to cover warranty... maybe you may need to remove the speaker to avoid them saying you modified their wires. However, need more input on this...

The car did not crank as well.
But upon further testing, it seems that my newly installed carpet is the culprit. I just had to press harder down the clutch to start it up. like as hard as i can hahaha which is weird as i can shift fine without pressing as hard.
hopefully i just had to press the clutch harder is all...

I do get this 1~1.5sec acceleration lag even when i fully dropped the clutch though. Not a big deal but i noticed it when trying to accelerate slightly harder than usual from 1st to 2nd gear. Maybe this is the faulty brake switch i see discussed here a lot?

I drove a 20year proton wira manual for 6 years and even though it was under powered as heck, the power delivery was instant :confused: 

There is also this weird whistling noise that seems like its coming from the upper portion of the window at the driver side and front passenger the moment i go more than 80kmph. Has anyone solved this problem yet?

Will definitely get the throttle delay checked out on my first 1k service.

if you want a better throttle respond... u can search for zordaq motorsports in subang... i had my MT persona done there.. they can recalibrate the throttle controller to be more responsive without voiding any warranty..hehe.. and didn't cost a bomb too...

ps: please remove excess carpet at the clutch area because the sensor is prone to damage if its blocked..

the torque comes at 2k rpm... so to be able to unlocked and the beast out of you car timing is everything... took me 2 months to figure the best output.. now i can wheel spin even at 2nd gear during acceleration..tho the short ratio on 1st and 2nd gear is quite dissapointing

Better purchase for future use, if already tinted your car i think no need. For my case, broke my front windshield glasses after only 1 week of use, broken by a damn small stone from highway. Doesn't have insurance for windshield need to pay out from my pocket. SC quote total change would damage around 1.5k, did outside only Rm750. CB kia SC trying to suck everything, anyone wanna know the SC it's glenmarie 1.

Sooner or later, even driving on uneven road at low speed will have rattling sound. 1K service go ask them to fix this rattling issues. Wanna know what pisses me off, even proton already know the rattling issue, they should solve this for 2017 production car but noooo still the same shit. If user complain then we fix for them, why don't they just fix this issue inside the factory instead at SC. Seriously waste of time.

You broken your windshield already? better do it fast. Don't wanna be in my shoes though, supposedly before the windshield cracked, next day have appointment to apply tinted. I gatal2 jalan jauh before applying tinted, the medicine is free cracked windshield xD.

already told them, they said absorber ??? and tighten it.. wtf
go back still same . today will go sc again, waste time
