Yes. That's correct. Only the last file cannot playback. Using SanDisk high endurance 32gb

Posibble to take short video of your dashcam condition after turn off power supply? it should be still powered on for few sec before totally swithed off.

I suspect a faulty capacitor in your A119.

Actually, capacitor dashcam is turn off almost instantly when you off the engine.

What I meant is that the capacitor is faulty is that it can't hold a charge inside to save the last file. There is a chance of a faulty capacitor. You can try to off the engine and see if the last file is saved or not. If not, then you'll need to claim warranty.

Posibble for you to snap a short clip on the condition? The screen is immediately turn off once the power supply cut off but the REC button illumination should be lit for few more second indicating file is saving into memory card.

Anything mass produced will have a small percentage of failure rate. When it happens it all comes down to after sales support.

Wont be both cap failed. 1 is stablize input and 1 is to stablize during recording. Chances for both failure is super rare. Can win jackpot if really both failed.

Hi Sifus here,

Plan to get a Viofo A119 dashcam, is the CPL really useful?
I'm trying to limit my budget, so thinking to go for only the device.
