In my personal unprofessional opinion, use the 60fps for smoother video ... or use highest resolution for clearer image (imagine you compare 1MP camera vs 8MP camera of a same camera : the difference are the image clarity. 1 camera only produce blur face, 1 camera can even pinpoint a pimple on your face). Ie higher resolution = higher clarity assuming all other factors are same.

I myself use 1440.

Use A119's native resolution of 1440p 30fps...

Gearbest no longer sells the A119.

Banggood have a coupon on the A119 page and also free gifts.

Pair with good discount vouchers or coupons, this deal is definitely one of the cheapest can be found.

Me and my friends also bought from this sellers, total of 4 units on different timing. Item shipped from HK, confirmed is version2 GPS mount. Item comes with a very long cable which can run from rear view mirror until the center arm rest, provided running the cable thru A pillar.

The only risk you should concern is, NO WARRANTY. But so far so good, item received in well manners. Only complaint is that GPS sometimes locked down very slow, took sometime to detect location.

Oh and you need to purchase memory card as well..

Read someone modded the GPS in the mount with extra wires and connecting to GPS from cold start takes about 8-10 seconds VS before about 30 seconds. Warm start takes 3-5 seconds to connect.

To me, wifi is not that important. I have in my car, a microSD OTG USB reader, which I can take out the microSD card and plug to my S7 edge to watch if needed.

If wifi turns you on, then consider the Viofo WR1, DDPai Mini2, Yi 2.7K King Edition, Mijia dashcam, etc.

Anyway, both have pros and cons.

At the moment, WR1 the video is nice and clear on firmware v1.0.

For A119S have a new firmware which increased image quality. And it's better than before.

For A119, I'm waiting for new firmware to be released after the beta firmware.

I don't think can compare WR1 to A119/A119S as WR1 is not the same level.

Anyway, The videos for A119S and WR1 is almost done. Thinking if want to do comparisons or not. Hm. Maybe future will do a video with 3 Viofos on it. Not sure yet.

Blurjoey, do you mean something like extended antenna? Or additional power cable connected to both dashcam and gps mount at the same time?
