the spec in the gearbest mentions this recorder supports up to 64GB microsd card, but the review in youtube says it can support 128GB card.
So, which one is correct?

QUOTE(darrenwks @ Sep 20 2016, 03:34 PM) where to get ? The link and all related info is posted in the first post... complain? not much complain.. most people satisfied.. xioyi dashcam? viofo is better.. viofo excels in night recording ... rm? this is considered a high end recorder.. price is slightly less than rm500 after including shipping & tax + discount code.. Those of you who use 128GB microsd card, can you confirm that the dashcam indeeds stores data up to 128GB?
since officially, it supports up to 64GB, I suspect, if 128GB memory card is used, the dashcam is still writing up to 64GB before overwriting old file. This had happened with other brand of dashcam.. I want to verify this, because upgrading my own memory card to 128GB.. |

QUOTE(leecwai @ Apr 27 2017, 08:58 AM) Got my new A119 unit with GPS mount. I've been using it for 8 months and until now, the time and date never get resetted.. it's always accurate so far.Setup the date, time, and some preferences last night but today morning it seems that all setting was gone this morning! I set the motion detector to on, does it cause this problem? I didn't hardwired the power to my car. Defective unit? Anyone have this problem before? |

QUOTE(petang makan maggi @ May 5 2017, 04:59 AM) Wait for Wednesday for 10% off with Maybank. Before waiting for 10% off, take note the current price. One time, I was watching this one item and waiting for 10% Maybank discount, I noticed when there was a discount, the seller bumped up the price and after deducting 10% discount, the price was actually more expensive than during the day without offered discount. Some sellers are dishonest. But one thing to note, it is shipped from China, you not gonna get it soon, not suitable as you are in urgent need? Also take note on warranty. |

QUOTE(NickShark @ Jun 4 2017, 05:36 PM) Can i use it without gps logger? I mean if i dont mind about my car speed and location...or anyone can advice is it better with gps logger? Cant decide between lazada seller with gps logger but no warranty and dfaro with 3 months warranty but without gps logger....price are almost the same rm344 to rm349 Yes.. it can work fine without gps, except the clock time. The displayed time will not be accurate over time. Sometimes, it may reset itself during start up.With vs without warranty + gps? Yeah.... very difficult decision to make. But mine has been working fine so far, for almost a year usage by now. I think this thing is durable.. try to google more and see how many people had issues with this. Then, after that you can make a choice easier as to whether to buy with or without warranty... |

I bought so many things via lazada from oversea. Basically, dont rely on the status. They may have sent you the product already... |

QUOTE(colemi @ Jul 2 2017, 12:03 AM) which recording mode should i choose? using A119 with 64GB memory. In my personal unprofessional opinion, use the 60fps for smoother video ... or use highest resolution for clearer image (imagine you compare 1MP camera vs 8MP camera of a same camera : the difference are the image clarity. 1 camera only produce blur face, 1 camera can even pinpoint a pimple on your face). Ie higher resolution = higher clarity assuming all other factors are same.1080/30fps,1080/60fps or 1440/30 fps? I myself use 1440. |

QUOTE(benson92 @ Aug 16 2017, 09:34 AM) it comes with v2.06 firmware installed, i updated it to v3.1 yesterday I believe most cars' cigarette socket is unpowered already when you turn off the switch. If it is not, then, yes, remove the power socket. The easiest way to check is to test with your car phone charger. Charge your phone when car is swithed on. Then, turn off the switch and see whether you phone is still getting charged or not. As for me, I just leave the power socket on all the time coz it is unpowered when I turn off my car. |

If you still cannot, and seller is not responding, I think you can call you credit card's bank and dispute your payment. If you pay with paypal, I heard it is even much easier...

QUOTE(j45on @ Oct 6 2017, 02:25 AM) Dear sifu, where can I get the kit for direct power draw? How does it look like? Can share link to the product in Lazada or eBay? Thanks in advance. for micro sd, yes, it must be class 10. Lower class will work also, but the video will not be smooth. 128GB micro sd also works fine. I'm currently using 128GB.Regarding the micro sd card, must it be class 10, Max size of 32gb? |

QUOTE(lkoky @ Nov 7 2017, 05:43 PM) any of you experience the a119 unit make a single beep sound, at some random interval while it is recording? It means your recorder fails to save the video into the memory card. You can try to take out the microsd card and put it back properly.mine does now... it is only 5mth old. This beeping sounds started 2 week ago. And sometime it will stop recording all together and the Rec button LED flashing, had to turn it off n on. Also updated to the latest firmware, no help It works for me. It the problem still happens, maybe you should try with another memory card or it could also mean there's a contact failure between viofo and the microsd card.
