Those of you who use 128GB microsd card, can you confirm that the dashcam indeeds stores data up to 128GB?

since officially, it supports up to 64GB, I suspect, if 128GB memory card is used, the dashcam is still writing up to 64GB before overwriting old file. This had happened with other brand of dashcam..

I want to verify this, because upgrading my own memory card to 128GB..

anyone compared A119 vs Eken H9 ?
*
If based on video quality alone, let's say 1080p 60fps, the A119 is better than Eken H9 from all the footages uploaded on youtube.

You might need to check if your tint allows GPS signal to pass or not. Some tints blocks GPS signal which causes the A119 unable to lock on to GPS.

There is a safe way to remove the tape mount as long as you don't yank it with force...

hmm that makes me wonder.. is the other way to mount the A119 instead of stick it to the window?saw some device that attached below/behind the rear mirror..

Lucky it's only a test sample... Can still see the reflections on the windscreen...

The rear view mirror mount? There is no feet to fit the A119 unless you mod...

After rotating the lens, managed to minimize the reflections... Now have to find that sweet spot...

Tq.

I'm also had just received my netac 128gb from gearbest to be used on my dashcam. The first thing I did was to run h2testw to verify my tf card is genuine.. and result was great.. it is able to write and verify without errors all 128gb memory space..

You got to look at more than just the wide angle lens and loop recording...

Eken H9 using Sunplus 6350 chip + OV4689 sensor. Viofo A119 is using Novatek 96660 chip + OV4689 sensor...

Eken H9 resolutions with 4K 10fps, 2.7K 15fps, 1080p 60/30fps. Viofo A119 with 1440p (2K) 30fps, 1080p 60/30fps... The 4K 10fps and 2.7K 15fps with such low framerates per sec, the playback is very choppy... Only usable is 1080p...

Watch this recorded by the Eken H9 in 4K

The only thing Eken H9 have that the Viofo A119 doesn't is the wifi...

Again very hard to compare an action cam with a dashcam...

Hope this helps you innocent.gif

I'm using 3M films... should have no problem with GPS signal as I'm able to use GPS on phone while driving.

should compare 1080p 60fps to be fair.

beside wifi also price, smaller form factor, plenty of accessories, wider view angle 170d.

hahaha cann.. just wear some sort of vest, put in one of the pocket, cut out a lens hole, and put the powerbank at your back.  biggrin.gif
*
for that matter, wearing a vest itself is already conspicuous, if use vest any phone can do instead.

basically in search of wide angle, video looping, 1080p 30fps, small, budget dash/body/action cam combo.

The A119 have 2K 30fps...

Again, please don't compare a dashcam and action cam together... It's 2 different segments. It's like you're comparing a Myvi to a Civic... sweat.gif

To log where you travel to, the speed you're driving and all...

Not to navigate to a location like Waze...
