ok let me describe my wish list more precisely:

it's called a "inconspicuous budget wearable dashcam action camera"

any good suggestion or mod for A119 to achieve this?

for spy cam i would rather use eyeglass one, but very hard to find a good quality recording.

back to the dash cam, i got this diy suggestions:

1. buy 0.4x wide angle lens adapter for smart phone.

2. install AutoGuard Dash Cam from Android.

3. mount your spare phone on your car dashboard with gps holder

tada! you got yourself a diy dashcam already!

save you some money, now buy me coffee.

yup... not only that reason. A smartphone at the dashboard will more likely be targeted by thieves than a dashcam. Easier to sell/dispose off than a dashcam. Been using dashcams on my cars for 5 years... so far nobody breakin laugh.gif

Hi, I'm interested to get A119 as my first dash cam. However I have a few questions that I like to know. Since this is an adhesive type mount, will there be any problem if my windscreen has solar tinting film applied? Will it damage the tinting film when I remove it?

You might need to check if your tint allows GPS signal to pass or not. Some tints blocks GPS signal which causes the A119 unable to lock on to GPS.

There is a safe way to remove the tape mount as long as you don't yank it with force...
