Drove to Genting last weekend from JB. Floored the pedal up to 160km/h on highway. Car is powerful enough for the climb with wife & 2 kids. Those seated at the back complaint the back seat too slippery (was leather coated) every time I made the winding turn. Saw another Civic X parked at the First World Hotel. FC 15.5 km/L without ECON and cruise control

On the way back maintain ECON and cruise control on highway. Manage to get 18.7 km/L FC

Discovered a flaw with the volume control. Not responsive sometime if I plug in my iPhone 6s to use Carplay (especially Spotify). Unplug and plug back solved the problem

Also discover the knob at the dashboard (next the one labeled Trip) is actually dashboard + HU brightness control

Hill start assist is preventing your car from rolling backward on a hill, not helping you to climb a hill easier.

Actually turbocharge vehicles usually perform better in high altitudes because the air is thinner, easier to compress and boost. So i don't think the turbo should have any issues going up genting.

The boosting fact u mentioned is right too some extend, but turbo vehicle still doesn't perform better in high altitudes, turbo just negating some of the loss from altitude. In general turbo just perform better than NA engine in such circumstance. Only electric car gets the same WHP output in all altitude.

Just went to see 1.8L version. The first impression is that the fabric is horrible, worst than the softer and smoother touched fabric on the City. All the touched area like armrest and door handle with that fabric makes it doesn't looks like over 100k car.

Even the leather on steering wheel doesn't seem can take any beating in long run.

And the steering wheel's button feels cheaper than City, the clicked feels hollow and fragile. rclxub.gif

The exterior looks is gorgeous, just the interior quality in the 1.8L is horrid.

why everyone is complaining on the 1.8 fabric? is it really that bad??? My wife actually prefers fabric rather than leather, as leather is really hot in our weather.

Any 1.8 owners would like to comment here?
