Should look very good along with RS Spoilers.

OEM LED Lights (TCP) are coming in too, should expect about 5k+ including installation. Heard from honda SA that it should not effect warranty issue if you kept the original headlamp and switch before warranty. laugh.gif
*
OEM led lights? Are you referring to changing 1.8s or TV halogen headlights to TCP led ?

Do you guys notice that the indicator stalk gets slightly stuck when:
1. You signal left, but you turn right
2. You signal right, but you turn left
*
I haven't got my car yet but i think i know what you are referring to because i notice this behavior with test drive car ... you can simulate this with

turn your switch left let it light on then quickly turn right then it will take 1 - 2 seconds before it will switch to right hand signal... to me this odd. It should be any delayed as when i'm test driving this causing me switching the signal right left and right constantly as i expect it to be immediate... i ask the SA and he just stone and unable to answer me...

But i'm not sure it happens to others or just that test drive car.

I'm using raybarrier 4. Regretting it. Though the advertised  TSER is quite high, I suspect the IRR is low. Almost felt like untinted at all during hot days. Sun glare felt unfiltered n can be annoying.

Does anyone has info on VKool Kepong branch. I heard they are having discount
*
http://www.v-kool.com.my/ and check out the official outlet. Currently they have promotion but not their top range product i guest... i will be getting VK40/30 which is not JPJ compliant but so far most of my friend installed VK40, JPJ and police did not kacau. VK30 did not launch officially but its available but definitely darker compare to VK40. So its not recommended and its just 0.2/0.3% different nia...

My office had a open air carpark and we use to went out for lunch, i had been lucky enough to try out most of the brands in the market... and to be honest VKool still stay on top if you ask me. Raytech is ok but with that kind of price... you expect more from them, but if you are looking for security film then they are the only option. For my case i will tint 2 layer, 1 layer clear security film + VK40.

VK40 and 30 spec

Hi ramnkc, i myself would also prefer to get VKool. I am going to get my car within this week and plan to tint immediately. Looking branch in puchong if the discount is everywhere. Kindly share with me your front, side and rear tint spec you are to buy
*
Hi barrylin, i'm install in PG because i stayed in PG smile.gif
Anyway, as i mentioned before i installed 1 layer Security Film (4 side windows) + VK40 for whole car at Tint-Shop as PG do not have VKool official branch, here only got authorized dealer and installer but they got the same promotion as well.

But the only advantage is here is that i can nego with them about the pricing and also payment method (cash). So with cash definitely will be couple hundred less, hopefully you know what i mean. With official branch, i'm not sure you can do that.

Specs wise Vkool is right there on the top.  However, the films suffer from demetalization where you will see streaks of lines on the film starting from year 5/6 onwards and gets worse.  Performance also drops over time.  3M and HO does not have demetalization issues, but cannot match Vkool specs when new.

I have used vKool elite for many of my previous cars, and have experienced the demetalization issue with the film.

BTW, both Vkool and Huper Optik are abang-adik company with parent as Solutia Inc.  Previously both of these films were developed by Southwall Technologies Inc. USA and were acquired by Solutia Inc in 2010.  VKool first (older gen) then the Ceramic range (Huper Optik).  More info here compiled before by one fo the BMW Club Malaysia members a couple of years ago:

Yup, agreed and thanks for the information. As currently most of the tint out there can't even give you warranty more than 5 years and to be honest my old Llumar start demetallization started from 2 year onwards, how i know? The color of the tint start fading that how it is... and most of the tint does as well. Please take note VKool will also having the same issues but i don't expect to last more than 5 years as well. It just depends on your own preferences as well.

Sounds like screw loosen or something like that or screw left behind ... go to SC and ask them to check.

Hi all, newbie here at tinting. Just wana ask some opinion/suggestions.

SA quoted me Rm1.7k for llumar T4-40 tint. Is it good?bad? cheap?expensive?
*
Llumar ok for first 2 years.. then facing color fading and the IRR rate is not good. If you really want to go for security film and great IRR - Raytech is the only viable option. And i'm not sure why now LLumar websites did not put they film specifications out now....

+1 I never bother to justify my purchase. I like it, so I don't really care if others don't.
What tint did you get?
My wife's Llumar is still going strong without any colour fading etc. Anyway, with 7 years warranty, can always go back and claim warranty if performance drops, so no issue there as well.

Llumar specs: Clicky & choose film catalogue.
*
Thanks for the spec! I installed Crystal 6 on my old Vios - 7 years back around 2.9K. Don't get me wrong, it was a great tint but the IRR rate really low. And my colleague installed VKool on his Alza the following 1.5 year around 2.4K and its not security film.... i strongly suggest him Llumar but he decided on VKool because he is Vkool user before on his old Waja smile.gif

And the results is his VKool win over mine for couple of street, i know it because both our car park at factory open air car park and we always went out for lunch together with either his car or my car. I need to full blown my AC and his just normal fan speed 1 or 2 only when we heading out for lunch. And most of our lunch mate can really feel the same things and give the same comment.... after 6 years, most of us had changed/upgraded their cars and VKool all the way !

Once you installed the Y cable then you may install ezcast or wifi display adapter into HDMI port. Then you will unlock the full potential of HU

yes, mine is Turbo. just normal city drive. if like that, then need to ask SC to check during first services.
*
Yup, that is the reason i opt for 1.8s because i cannot tolerate with the turbo kicking in sound... somebody likes it but i felt it irritating. Anyway, Honda really does not do a good job on their first version of engine and you may ask their hard core honda fans... so i will put my bet on next gen of turbo engine, this is my 2 cents of thought.
