QUOTE(KennyKB @ Sep 2 2016, 12:12 AM) It's nothing to do with your wife's driving skill. Our Mazda 3 bonnet is long and low so it's hard to judge distance to the front. That's why I installed front sensors. They don't connect to our MZD but to an independent LED display mounted on the dashboard. Btw, you should be able to get a quote from your SA. Including painting won't be cheap. It may be worth claiming insurance. Hi Kenny, does install 3rd party proximity sensor void the car warranty in this case?

Test all the electronic functions to make sure they are working. Check the body for dents and make sure nothing has been resprayed. Check the service record and confirm that warranty is still valid. If everything checks outs there is no reason not to buy it.

You already know there is nothing difficult to apply for loan. The other thing need to be done is Puspakom inspection. This is usually the responsibility of the owner but if you are doing on his behalf nothing difficult also. Make an appointment online and take a half day off. If the tint doesn't comply better tear it out first to avoid a fail. Ownership transfer is very simple if both of you can go to JPJ together. The owner's insurance and road tax are cancelled upon transfer so you need to buy insurance for the car first so you can buy your road tax on the spot. Runner can't help you transfer ownership as biometric of buyer and seller must be taken at JPJ counter so don't waste your money. This post has been edited by Ginny88: Sep 5 2016, 11:11 AM

QUOTE(rockets @ Aug 19 2016, 03:30 PM) Guys is this info still correct? I went to Bermaz Glenmarie and they said the warranty is 1 year or 20,000km for the battery. I'm already past that and don't feel like forking out RM700 for a battery because I don't use the i-stop at all. To answer my own post, got the battery changed for free today. First battery change during warranty period is free. There is also another 1 year warranty on top of the new battery. Don't need appointment, just drive the car in and wait 1-2 hrs.

Did your i-stop give any indication?

QUOTE(ycs @ Sep 5 2016, 09:10 PM) is it the battery warranty also is 3 years like the car? 1st battery change can claim from sc for free, then you have 1 year warranty from the battery manufacture, basically after the 1st battery claim from sc then you're on your own since battery hardly fail in a year

Guys, our M3 having long bonnet/ front overhang hence making tight spot maneuvering a little tricky.
if lets say we are driving into parking (head in) , would SCBS kick in when we are a little too near to the wall or car beside??
