QUOTE(amduser @ Aug 22 2016, 04:16 PM) http://shopping.jeffhaasmazda.com/service-...vice-schedules/ Thanks bro, ask the SA today and she said HQ do not want them to share this info as it might change time to time lol https://www.mymazda.com/MusaWeb/pdf/maint_s...8_MAZDA3_MS.pdf service interval is same like typical japanese car, not much different even though it uses more advanced engine tech and more electronics This post has been edited by Lucasadu: Aug 23 2016, 03:04 AM |

QUOTE(HaloJ @ Aug 23 2016, 08:56 AM) Congrats on the choose. Very good deal already. I get the car last year September only discount 1.6K + freebies umbrella, tyre inflators, tinted voucher (RM300 only) and half tank petrol. Tyre inflators also rosak 1. Gtechniq 9H coating quite famous. It's a UK brand. You may ask which package the SA give for the coating. Same to vkool tint, which tint they give. QUOTE(amduser @ Aug 23 2016, 10:21 AM) Gtechniq not bad i guess, but the price is quite expensive tint is up to you, but the tint voucher is only for lower range of tint, when i buy i dont have any freebies, only tyre inflator and the tint i do it outside myself QUOTE(amduser @ Aug 23 2016, 11:54 AM) it is printed in the user manual as well Thank all for the sharing since we are sending it back to service center for service, might as well just let them do their job but for me i will still do the checking myself, like those brake fluid, engine oil quality, coolant and etc one thing to take note is the ATF, mazda claimed that it last a lifetime or at least 100,000km, but we should change it during 20k or 40k mileage one thing need to mention, actually i have misunderstood. is either 1.5K + tint OR Coating WITHOUT rebate 1.5K... So.... one question here, is the coating really important? does it really help in future? i mean after 3 - 5 years, is there a big difference between 2 car where one have coating and another dont have? QUOTE(amduser @ Aug 23 2016, 01:24 PM) depends on how you take care, after coat you still need to wash your car verify often like once or twice a week depends on the weather, if no contact with rain or not many mud then can wash less frequent ok bro, really appreciate your feedback.coating can give extra shine and easier to wash the car since the dust wont stick to the surface of the car if didnt take proper care for the coating it will wear off in 2-3 years, if take care then it will last, if compare side by side with a car without coating after 3 years you will notice the car with coating will have better shine given that it has been properly taken care of good coat also provide UV protect and can prevent paint oxidation, but it doesn't provide protection against stone chip which is quite vulnerable for our car, and if you always drive under rain and didnt wash it, it will have watermark on the coat tint no need say already la, we all know what kind of benefit it give Now the SA quite nice, she offer me 1k rebate + LUMA tint (Explosion-proof with 5 year warranty)+ coating with 5 year warranty i think this is the best i can get already. But is the LUMA tint ok, compare with vkool? as if i choose rebate 1.5k she give me vkool tint. |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Aug 23 2016, 03:00 PM) I also not sure, most people go with Diamond series if they have the money. You can see the detailed specifications here : http://www.tintauto.com.my/products/?pr=automotive You can look around for opinions in the tint thread or you can ask the sellers directly on the garage sale section. QUOTE(HaloJ @ Aug 23 2016, 03:41 PM) I'm using Llumar Diamond 6 now. So far so good. It's still hot if park under the sun for whole day but it is fast to get cold after air-con on. QUOTE(neekun @ Aug 23 2016, 08:07 PM) Usually those voucher for tint or coating are useless. The voucher price had been factored into the car tint or coating cost. You can try ask them what package the voucher is valid for and go approach the car tint or coating company as walk in customer to nego a good price. Don't mentioned about the voucher that you have :-) she offer full install tint before pass me the car, and give me 2 option,Llumar house tint vesssolar M5 7 yr warranty (full tint and pass car to me after install) + Gtechniq platimun crystal coat full interior exterior 5yr warranty + rebate 1k OR rebate 1.5K + Vkool elite rem 55, 5 year warranty(full tint and pass car to me after install) both come with the GPS SD Card Llumar house tint??? QUOTE(Ginny88 @ Aug 24 2016, 02:01 PM) The VKool package is worth RM2K so including rebate of RM1.5K you are getting RM3.5K. thanks for the detail explanation Good coating with 5 years warranty is usually priced from RM1.5K to RM2K. Let's say both options have the same value and the coating cost RM1.5K. So the amount for Llumar tint is RM3.5K - 1.5K - 1.0K (rebate) = RM1.0K. This amount of RM1000 is not enough for a good tint by an imported brand. Hence I think the tint should be a house brand. Heat rejection is hard to say. A 3rd option is to forget about tinting or coating and ask how much cash rebate you can get. If can get RM3.5K take the cash and tint outside. You can get Raytech U70 + MX security tint for <RM2K which is better than VKool 55. yes, i will ask for 3rd option, full cash rebate and see how much she will offer me. |

went to Glenmarie today and can discount 2k + 500 tinit voucher.
Also they have few 2014 manufactured sedan HS model left which can discount up to 6k. its quite tempting, been thinking about this. What is the cons of get a 2014 model? The only thing i know is the deprecation in 2nd hand value, if i want to sell if off in future. Is there other cons about this? Also, i have ask a few SA frm different branch before i go to Glenmarie, some give 1.5k rebate with full tint, some is 1k with voucher, some say can give 2.5k with tint and coating voucher (but dunno the value yet). The more i ask, the more confuse i am. |

QUOTE(amduser @ Sep 4 2016, 12:26 AM) the tint they apply might be low end tint that offer very less heat rejection and VLT is very high Ya, check on a well known 2nd hand car website, 2014 or 2015 model, at least depreciate 30k.2014 car is not worth the 6k rebate, 2014 HS market price should be around 100k since our car value depreciate faster than H and T if i bought a 2014 model even it is new one, with rebate of 6k, its really buang money to sea |

QUOTE(amduser @ Sep 4 2016, 06:27 PM) if you are keeping the car for a long time like 7-10 years then no need care about resale value la, but the thing is we dont know how they keep the 2014 car for 2 years, if everyday under the sun and rain without shelter then the paint and interior going to degrade faster than usual, and also engine that doesn't start and run frequently also will give problem in long run Ya bro, you got the point. We wont know the car is under what kind of condition for the last 2 year, thats the problem. |

There is also another 1 year warranty on top of the new battery. Don't need appointment, just drive the car in and wait 1-2 hrs. Thanks for the sharing bro |
