Interesting. If they move to torsion beam, then it's very likely M2 and M6 will do the same too.

One consequent of moving to torsion beam is more space at the back which Mazda 3 is usually criticized for. However I can't see the link between multilink suspension and road noise as stated in the report.

let's just wait and see what kind of handling it will be for Skyactiv X, for now we can just assume, who knows it really has better handling even though the history proved otherwise tongue.gif

it can last around 30k mileage depends on how and where you drive

other than that you can try soundproofing, but be prepare to pay a large sum for it, the noise for city drive still okay for me, just that on highway that time is very noisy due to the materials used to built the road

Don't think so. This is considered wear and tear. Maintenance also play a part.

Already 10 months usage you can't go back and claim. Don't waste your time.

Btw, the driver's seat leather always wears out fastest so it is worth it to protect it with one of those throw on seat covers which protects the seat as well as the back leather. Otherwise there is no way it will last as long as the rest of the car seats no matter how good you maintain.

\start with getting the rear boot done , to help reduce the loud road n tire noise

a crucial area to cover to reduce the loud noise apart from the floor panel which would easily cost u 1k plus for a decent ones

Claimed for Perodua Alza fabric tore and P2 replaced the entire seat within 1 year warranty BTW.

No harm asking the service center the seats should last and not tear so quickly.

I say go and claim it. 10 months is simply too short. Especially if it's a factory defect. If they refuse, then that says a lot about their QC & materials used.

No harm asking but if the SC shoo you away don't jump up and down. Any replacement will be based on goodwill.

Hi guys,I'm planning to buy M3 Sedan GVC
About premium colours, what do you guys think about these colours?

Soul Red Crystal - Very sharp and unique (current car is red colour also)
Mechanic Grey - I like its reflection
Snowflake White Pearl - Very hard to maintain?

Most likely if one wants an even tone and peace of mind. At least until outside spray shops are able to get their hands on the same or similar paint type.

Even Mazda SC may not be able to get a perfect match for soul red as the painting process is so complicated. Furthermore post-painting can't duplicate the process during manufacture as the oven temp has to be lower to protect the electronics, wiring and cushions.

In other words, soul red is beautiful but a problem if you need to do any touch-up.
