guys,
went to mazda show room today, opt for HS.
they offer 1.5k discount, freebie choose between vkool tint OR Gtechniq 9H coating.
anyone hear about this coat brand before?
*
Congrats on the choose.
Very good deal already. I get the car last year September only discount 1.6K + freebies umbrella, tyre inflators, tinted voucher (RM300 only) and half tank petrol. Tyre inflators also rosak 1. shakehead.gif
Gtechniq 9H coating quite famous. It's a UK brand. You may ask which package the SA give for the coating. Same to vkool tint, which tint they give.

I also not sure, most people go with Diamond series if they have the money. You can see the detailed specifications here :
http://www.tintauto.com.my/products/?pr=automotive

You can look around for opinions in the tint thread or you can ask the sellers directly on the garage sale section.
*
I'm using Llumar Diamond 6 now. So far so good. It's still hot if park under the sun for whole day but it is fast to get cold after air-con on.

Anyone tried wiring up the dash cam to the fuse box?
If yes, which accessories shop you've sent to?

Ciggie lighter is right in the middle of the car, quite a hassle if I don't want the dangling cable.
*
I have wiring up to the fuse box.
I didn't cut the dashcam wire but just added a extra cigarette lighter socket inside the fuse box and plug & play.
Accessories shop I went is Sh@ty5.

hello,

I am thinking of getting a Mazda 3 sedan (skyactiv 2.0). I have a few questions hope you don't mind..

1.is the current model the facelift or pre-facelift model?
2.is the new generation Mazda 3 coming out anytime soon?
3.when is the Diesel skyactiv engine coming?
4.what is the FC for mixed city/highway driving?

thanks!
*
Hi, welcome to consider Mazda 3.

1. Current model is pre-facelift.
2. No new generation Mazda 3 come out soon but pre-facelift should be next year don't know which quarter.
3. Currently only available for Mazda 6 and CX-5, saw a test drive unit Mazda 2 with Diesel skyactiv engine on the road on Federal Highwa towards Klang.
4. Mine around 8.XL/100KM. Some member get lower.

Hope this help.
Thanks. smile.gif

Hi All, is anyone have refill their radiator coolant with others brand (eg: Mitsubishi brand) rather than Mazda brand coolant? It's still a green color liquid.
I have already ask the SC to refill but they keep said still ok but last weekend check it almost reach lower line. So I think I will refill myself than go SC just for the coolant refill.

5W-30 is recommended for SKYACTIVE as per the manual.

Battery is under the standard warranty of 1year or 20,000km whichever comes first. (This is standard throughout all Battery used in all cars)

Hi lucifal, how about 5W-40 (FS) engine oil which we top-up? Is it suitable for our SKYACTIV engine?

After an hour of resting in Mcd, we start heading out to Hotel Arissa, the place we will stay for this trip

Once we arrived we quickly gathered at the empty land behind the hotel since it is not the time to check-in yet, it was a very sunny day with no cloud, everyone is literally sunbathing outside shakehead.gif

this is the group photo taken by me from 4th floor of the hotel icon_rolleyes.gif it took almost 2 hours to arrange the formation and we have to do this under hot sun, really thanks to all members for the patience and effort, this is my first time doing this as well

Not much pictures taken until the last day before we depart back to KL, during lunch we go to a ikan bakar (not sure what's the name already) around 30-40 mins drive from hotel and have a taste on some of the local seafood, that place no aircon so it is quite hot but really appreciate the owner of the restaurant open shop in afternoon specially for us because of our large number of members (around 60 pax) rclxm9.gif , usually they only open from evening onward.

At night the hotel provide us free buffet during dinner, taste very good thumbup.gif after that we gather at the hotel main entrance for another group photo

After group photo session, some of us the hotel shuttle to Jonker Street, some took a walk there instead, it is around 15 mins walk from the hotel.

During midnight some of us gather for another round of photoshoot session, at first we thought of going to Dataran Pahlawan but then they got some kind of fun fair going on sad.gif then we head over to Klebang beach for quick photoshoot session

Next day morning some of us who wake up early took a walk to Jonker Street again for breakfast and walk around for sight-seeing and souvenir, during noon we gather at hotel main entrance for another group photos with some of the cars

After that we check-out from hotel, some of the member join MYM2 to Starbuck, while some of us include me, go and try out the famous coconut shake, taste very nice and refreshing and it only cost RM2.70 for a special coconut shake, in KL it might cost at least RM8 or more biggrin.gif

From there onward we split path and went our separate way, some stay in Malacca to visit other places and others head back KL which marked the end of our KL-Malacca trip

Here is the convoy video compiled by me, combined footage from me and a videographer from MYM2, without his footage this video wont be possible

This trip is sponsored by:
- Bermaz & Mazda Malaysia (goodies bag + umbrella)
- Tomato Garage (all convoy stickers)
- Hotel Arissa (accomodation & dinner buffet)

Special thanks to:
- Volunteer lead team (sweeper, marshall and photographer) from M3SA & MYM2
- All participating members from M3SA & MYM2

\start with getting the rear boot done , to help reduce the loud road n tire noise

a crucial area to cover to reduce the loud noise apart from the floor panel which would easily cost u 1k plus for a decent ones
*
Please quote for rear boot soundproofing. Thanks.
