QUOTE(nerd nation @ May 24 2007, 08:07 AM) I just hate watching massa win and all his podium jumps and celebration like pointing the brazilian flag etc Count me in He's like a boy who doesn't know how to celebrate Hated when he kept moving his index finger...so "poyo" I like Schumi's gestures as well as Kimi. Valentino Rossi's punching fist gesture also pretty nice. A symbol of satisfaction It's like he' saying "I nailed it". This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 24 2007, 01:23 PM |

The Mclarens seem to have the upperhand atm. After that its all random, with BMW and Renault on the upfront, and Ferrari seems to be struggling for time here.. could it be they are testing on something new, maybe a heavy fuel load to test out the what time they could get from their cars...
Monte Carlo like they said is a lottery, accidents prone and then the safety car comes out. The teams will have to response to it right away in terms of strategy... |

Not really. That pace may seem to be fast, but it was done of a supersoft set of Bridgestone. On the harder compound, he just edge out Kimi and Lewis

alonso was fast enough in the practice but doesn't means tat he will get pole position in qualifying.
although alonso won the race last yr,but dun forget about kimi as he drive quite fast at monaco circuit(2006 and 2005 which he won the race there).just unfortunely, his car broke down (yr 2006).otherwise..... but try to keep an eye on Coulthard too.his car become competitive now and he had a good experience & technique in driving Monaco circuit |

I like to watch Monaco GP as it is one of the most unforgiving track. Am little mistake, you are out of the game. But, then again it is quite boring too as it offers little chance for overtaking.
So, it is always good to be in pole position. At least, you got a better chance to stay ahead of the pack. Well, it's McLaren and Ferrari again |

The choices of tyres always a deciful factor.
Either push it or baby the tyres. I'll save my comments after the chequered flag This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 25 2007, 02:47 PM |

depends. Many teams don't want it yet as it's not been tested. i say test it on the other races first before making it for F1

No-go for night races yet - Mosley
QUOTE FIA President Max Mosley insisted in Monaco that F1's governing body has not yet sanctioned Bernie Ecclestone's plans for night racing. SourceEcclestone has busily been organising floodlit events in Singapore and possibly Malaysia and Australia for as soon as next year, but Mosley said on Thursday that the FIA must give the final go-ahead. "There is still no criteria for it," the Briton said, explaining that if a formal request for night racing is ultimately made, it could be the decision of the World Council to sanction or disallow it. Mosley added: "We will not sanction night racing if it does not fulfil all of the safety conditions." The Briton did, however, offer full support for Ecclestone's desire for more street circuits, but insisted that they must all satisfy the safety requirements of normal permanent venues. Only Monaco, Mosley said, is the exception. "Monaco has been a part of Formula One for 70 or 80 years," he said, "but we can't tear down the buildings so that the run-off distances are better." "New city courses (however) must fulfil the same criteria as any other circuit, in terms of safety." He also revealed that Ecclestone has not yet requested a Grand Prix date for the Japanese circuit Suzuka next year, contrary to suggestions that the popular circuit could return. As expected, night races wont be implemented so soon. Much more to learn, much more time needed. This post has been edited by -= Virgil =-: May 25 2007, 04:15 PM |
