Hey, any of you have any problem with other BT program, try using BitLord, which i am using, and has no problem at all in connecting to tracker and infact last night it hit over 100kps and finished dl a few files that were stucked since 2 weeks ago, here are the steps to configure, really simple:

1. dl the proxy server by silverhawk on the fist page
2. dl the bitlord program, http://www.bitlord.com/ and install it and then start putting a few torrent in it and start it up, u should see [0/0/0/0]
3. Go to option>preferences>Connection>Proxy and change the following:

- Proxy Type>HTTP1.1
- Proxy Server>localhost
- Proxy Port>8080
- Checked>Use proxy only for HTTP connections (Tracker Connections)
- Checked>Authentication Required
- Put in any username and password

4. extract the proxy server thing that u dl to a folder, and then click on start server, the window will notify to to unblock, hit unblock
5. go back to your bitlord and you should start seeing the update on peers and seeders activities and then.... voala

Question on Azureus 2.5.0.0 + Paw

Under Tools->Options->Connection-> Proxy Options

[Tracker communications]
Enable proxying of trackers communications = checked
I have a SOCKS proxy = unchecked

Host = localhost
Port = 8888
Username = empty
Password = empty

[Peer communications]
Enable proxying of peer communications = checked
Inform tracker of limitation = checked
SOCKS version = V4 (default)
Use same proxy settings for tracker and peer communications proxy = checked

I get an OK tracker status, but no downloads. Any idea? My feeling is all seeders aren't local seeders (trying to download JAS 10.4.8 Intel AMD Mac OS X).

regards.

I have used the above steps to set up proximitron for my bitcomet...Proximitron shows an active connection but my tracker seems no changes...the speed become slower than the one without proxy...

Secondly, i also try up paw program but end up this result
408 Request Time-out: Read timed out
408 Request Time-out: Read timed out
LOG: 3 8080 144: Error: 408 Request Time-out: Read timed out
LOG: 3 8080 42: Error: 408 Request Time-out: Read timed out

May I know why?

Do you all feel like a bit lag when trying to drag the proximitron or the torrent client?

well if u didn't exp it... this few weeks since the Taiwan earthquake... seems tat TMNut Shittix has blocked torrent trackers, peers, whoever watever linked to torrent clients... 2 probable reasons are:
1) reduce network traffic
2) some stupid political anti piracy campaign crap...
so by using this proxy connection... we at least get 1-5kb/s rather than connecting all day/week/year long without anything downloaded... u can boost ur download speed wif CFOSpeed(highly recommended) and use virtual server/port forwarding(recommended by others) in ur router...

the only thing i edited from the extracted PAW folder is user name and password in conf/server.xml

then i run startserver.bat.

then i go to utorrent, connection page there, everything exactly the same as the page 1 guide. Port used for incoming connection is properly forwarded in my router.

i guess that's all i have to do right? but... it don't work...
please please... point out anywhere i did wrong...

ok now... i've double checked again... my problem is that most of the trackers are "working" condition, but there's like 1000+seeds 3000+peers but i can connect to NONE of them... so... is this out of topic already?

First of all, thanks for the BT tracker solution SilverHawk.

I think I have some problems using it...

When I use it, the trackers are 'BLUE' (For uTorrent) showing that it is indeed being 'tracked' but the Peer list is still empty sad.gif

I am behind a router, so do I have to...

1. Configure the uTorrent Port to 8080 (Following the Proxy port)?
2. Open the port in my firewall?
Currently my uTorrent is on a different port (20000) and it is opened in NAT and Firewall settings on my router page.

The uTorrent log shows:
[19:23:07] UPnP: Discovered new device: http://192.168.1.1:80/UD/?3
[19:23:07] UPnP: ERROR 718 mapping port 20000 -> 192.168.1.2:20000
[19:23:18] Unable to map UPnP Port.
[19:27:02] UPnP: ERROR 718 mapping port 8080 -> 192.168.1.2:8080
[19:27:11] Unable to map UPnP Port.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
