mine also same
cos usually people will dim it if too bright, not brighten it when too dark
my brightness always at max, only dim it when play in a dark place

Me thinks it just brightness buggy.yer guys can check link below how to encounter with brightness problem

i seldom use recovery mode so i din bother about it

hello anyone could help me pls. my psp is version 3.30oea.
i just dowloaded ff7 game files. The files separated into 3 folders, FF7CD1,FF7CD2 and FF7CD3. Each folder contains FF7 CD1.ccd,FF7 CD1.img and FF7 CD1.sub respectively.

can i play the game on my psp? how to convert it to .iso file?

you need a psx converter.
it'll convert the files into an eboot.pbp.
i think most converters supports .img, correct?
so, u just convert the files and dump it inside ms0:/psp/game
and ur good to go.

ok. done. but havent try wheter it is working or not. how about the 2nd and 3rd disc? rename it to eboot2.pbp and ebbot3.pbp?

i think the method is the same
it is just like rip out another game disc

not good.. after i convert the .img into eboot.pbp i place it in my G:/psp/game.

when i go to the game menu nothing happen. no FF7 game there. anyone could help me more detail?

most of xmb customization file located in flash0:/vsh/resource. this folder is not critical. u will only experience half brick if u messed up with any files in the folder (u can recover it with recovery menu)...
-a little advice before customizing your psp:-
1. make a free space in flash0 cus most of edited files will use more space than available. u can delete
gb3s1518.bwfon &
jpn0.pgf
located in flash0:/font and replace it with a copy of ltn0.pgf.

2. do not change the files in the critical file/folder for example flash0:/kd (sorry i forgot the actual directory, u can look around and search which one is the critical folder). changing/replace files in this folder will cause u a fully brick psp
