-plugin folder is for additional plugin such as screenshot, reboot/restart using button combo, etc.

u need to join all the background by using cmd or u can create bat file in the same folder of all the bg...

create a background (12 bgs), rename it same as before 1.bmp,2.bmp and so on.
create new text file n paste


rename it to .bat extension... run the .bat file and u get the 1-12.bmp

yup.just run the bat file, rename it to xxxx.bat
-u get ur 1-12.bmp then

the wallpaper.bmp is a wallpaper... not a background image...dont get confuse.

yup, it will show the 1st bmp i think, but it include all the files...
u got 1MB, it mean u use high resolution, keep in mind, psp bg only support small resolution file (im not sure the exact resolution, i will try it later)...

-yes the image will change for each month. not wallpaper kay, the bg images is the image that u see that blend with wavery lines...

-okay, i read in other forum and im not really sure about it,
1.if u combine all backgrounds 1-12 with standard resolution (60x43pixel), u can access all the theme correctly.
2.but im not sure if u want to use higher resolution..

if u want the april theme, try pick u desired 4.bmp (with higer resolution), and then the others put the standard one (60x43). see what happen if u change the theme...

i think it possible.. but u need to find the right eboot.

edit:-from what i read, this method also not successful... autoboot feature cannot be used. just wait for an update..

we should have our own guide for the important things that are related to homebrew & hacking. something like, how to run homebrew in 3.03 oe, how to change background, how to make/load movie, etc.

i think it will be useful for new user. what do u think?
we can make the guide separately but mod can add the guide in the first post... i know there are a lot of tutorial in other forums, but i still insist we must have our own guide too

did u manage to run homebrew using 3.03oeb or previous oe release?...

there are many homebrew that can play movie and also a converter that u can use to convert to mp4...if u are using 3.03oe, it wise that u just use a converter...
-u can use 3gp converter or xvid4psp (this program support new full screen format for 3.03oeb), full screen format mean full resolution 480x272...

-i'm using 3gp conveter plus virtual dub... i use virtual dub to edit the movie (resize, add filter, change frame rate, etc) and then i use 3gp converter..

not sure, i see the original 2GB memory card around rm350 (i see it in sonystyle website)...

i got my memory stick from moresales. got 2pieces 2GB and 1piece 1GB from moresales and it works just fine.... maybe u can consider buying 4Gb instead
