hehe..i mean i have "PURCHASE" an original final fantasy game and rip it and try to play on my psp . Is it the right way?

I think it's got something to do with the downloaded version of Final Fantasy VIII. It's got some code to wait until you go quite far and just before you save the game it will hang on you. Try the UMD version. It's very stable.

there was a fix i read somewhere..by using the latest pops converter and changing the SLUS code to Jap slus code..

emm.....is there something to do with the ky...cosz when i use popstation to convert....it only create 1 eboot.pbp ...but without the key

I m looking for that too...Can't even find a convertor.

The only thing I am able is to convert AVI to XVID/DIVX using "AVItoPMP" and later play the file using "PMPMOD".

if i'm not mistakenla.u can use xvid4psp software to encode mkv file to pmp.get it at www.winnydows.com.n da latest homebrew pmp player advance at pspupdates.
pmp kick ass.try encode it at 1300 bitrate,u'll get almost same quality as umd.n da soft also have bookmark.everytime,u stop the movie n off the psp.it will savestate.n resume the exact part again when u run the software again.the cons:encode so slow... i used to watch jdorama in komuter train while go back from work.makes me feels... japanese...
