Hey there guys, just gotten this router based on the recommendations here. I need help to port forward my bit torrent client. Under which section must I go to port forward? The stock interface is foreign to what I'm used to.

If you are using Xwrt-Vortex firmware, there is no need to port forward for bit torrent.

UPNP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled by default.

I would recommend you flash your WS880 to Xwrt-Vortex firmware.

Please let us know when you have successfully flashed your WS880 with Xwrt-Vortex firmware.

Instructions are on the first post of this thread. smile.gif

Ya. It seems TP-Link is reliable for Wireless Router Model.

TP-Link ADSL type not good.

D-Link is quite OK but worse than TP-Link.

Use ASUS if need more better performance.
Not suitable for people with budget.

I will not favor a particular brand but at least D-Link have a working QoS when the router is running on VLAN mode and actually working Native IPV6. Try those on a TP-LINK router. laugh.gif

Hahahaha... later he report your post...

He reported mine even though Im merely stating what I perceived from all his replies. He basically just look at branding, not a single word about the model, spec.

Reminded me of someone from Symbian thread... LOL

A self-proclaimed "network specialist". laugh.gif

He reported mine too, but what is the effect of that reporting?

I can still access the forum and post as normal.

Does it mean that the mods don't give a damn to his report? laugh.gif

Well, of course, mods also look at your post and determine whether or not the complain is valid or not. If complain valid, you will see an increase at your warning level. If not valid, then just move on la.

The RM199 price was for stock clearance only

The RM299 is the normal price
