might be instability problem....make sure u test ur oc speed wif orthos

I wonder if anyone else here use P5N-E SLI. My board able to get it boot with 450FSB. When I set my FSB >450, system won't boot. Increasing NB voltage won't help either.

Previous my ram able to run with 480FSB using ASUS P5B-E Plus though.

At first I thought want to replace my E6600 with it, but to think of, I seldom use PC nowadays. so better let it off to other enthusiast.

Its orthos related to processor and mobo temperature? I can see my orthos pass on cold days and failed on hot days. And I have no problem playing games
what have you guys encountered, I was thinking to upgrade to E6600 or E6700 and not overclock.

Should say the stability of your system will be affected by the temperature. That's why you see those extreme overclockers will use LN2 to cool down their proc.

i dont think there will be a lot differs with my cooler. i will try install aircond and see.

if i were to buy a new processor to oc, could u guys recommend me one and what batch?

hrmm... wanna ask here. i OC my friend's rig to 2.5ghz, 4-4-4-12 1.8vdimm, 1.275vcore bios, 1.160vcore cpu-z/pcprobe. orthos blend 8 hours stable, TAT 56/57. stock HSF.

which such undervolting is it ok for 24/7 usage? it's a E63. cause i'll be sending this rig to SG for him. then he will be using it there. don't want any hassle after sending this rig to him. thanks in advance

No problem undervolting (it is actually good if can undervolt), but might as well orthos it for a full 24 hour just to make sure

Not really, most of the problem is overly-overclock (meaning not stable) If C2D overclock got problem then I think no one will ever want to get C2D as the pros of C2D over X2 is the higher overclock

higher achieve is for my e6400 at 3.2ghz... can refer to C2D oc page... i post my detail over there.. that time my ram able to hit 800mhz ....then i cant go higher due to my ram (corsair)..and now i change to Patriot it seem better compare to corsair but i think try to pust it yet... ...
