icic... i might get one myself too. still searching for the one too. anyway, when you are getting 680i yourself, please drop me a PM. might want to tumpang together. hope you don't mind. btw, i actually opt for ultra-90 cause i don't like too big heatsink. but, looks like no stock. lol

PS: 680i mobo still hasn't hit lowyat market rite?

hrmm... kinda curious here, how come no 680i fever going on in lyn? no one is getting any of them? and no one is doing bulk on this? the price for one is a bit more expensive from P5B-D if i'm not mistaken after converting from newegg. but it's relatively very new than P5B-D. just wondering how come no fuss about it in lyn.

btw, Bad Axe2 also not mush news on it. it's rather a good oc board. all focus on asus, abit and biostar? is it because of Malaysia market only bring in those stuff? getting sick of Malaysia IT market!!!

hehe... if no one wants it then i'll keep it. btw, if i'm not mistaken now only evga, striker etreme and bfg available for 680i. while the abit IN9 32X MAX will only hit retailers on january. and seems like czone now accepting pre order for the striker, RM1799!!!!! lol

it's normal for them to hijack the price, summore they dun have competitor yet and it is pre order..

i believe the 680i SLI board is damn good, manage to hit higher fsb than 965 (and 975 of course)  but i'm not sure if it is worth upgrading unless u wanna do SLI or u wanna oc ur fsb kaw kaw  thumbup.gif

i dunno if i'll be buying any 680i board or not.. coz rite now asus p5w dh is the best c2d board i ever used.. biggrin.gif
*
that is one of the reason i'm trying to let it go to a better owner. cause i'm not going for any sli rig. and to wait for 650 ultra is just too long. this C2D upgrade has been kinda long for me. btw, i'm only using 73gt and only dota. lol. i guess it's more than enuff. but if i'm not mistaken P5B-D clocks better than P5W rite?

shud i ask or shud i not...ask away je la...
just got the 10th Anni ram...and run the memtest...my rig=sig.
run the proc wif x6 multiplier, and ram at x2, push the fsb to 495...so the ram shud be 495 x 2 = 990@44412 and proc is 495 x 6 = 2970...fine boot up ok...masuk memtest...running the test #5...then i noticed the Proc was reported as 3465 which is 495 x 7 ??? i wonder is it just memtest misreported my C2D clock or what?
and btw, i think some results will be reported shortly... thumbup.gif

after reading XS, Asus P5B-E Plus all = C2. while Asus P5B-E v1.02 above all = C2. Asus P5B-DLX v1.04 above all = C2. (might not be correct, keep in mind)

hrm... this P5B-E Plus vdroop really serious. bios = 1.325v, real = 1.216.
but seems to be stable. running 333 x 9, 3-3-3-10 2.25v (1:1) which is 3GHz. super-pi = 17.953 without hassle. orthos now just want to see whether such low vcore can or not. lol

ok. some updates. manage 500 fsb but suicide. cause using stock HSF. the temp is insane. apparently i need more juice for my ram than vcore. once i set vdimm to 2.4v then, wala... booted into windows and able to run super pi. but stability is still a question mark. i just want to try out and see this mobo worth it or not. and whether C1 is ok or not.

500 x 7, 1:1, 1.37vcore (bios 1.475, lol), 2.4vdimm, 5-5-5-15

mike: ya. it's a suicide run. no orthos. i think my stock heatsink contact on the proc don't have enuff presure. i post it for those who are considering buying P5B-E Plus in lowyat which is very possibly C1 chip. i never ever post my benchmark. paiseh. so it's proven this board is kinda on par with P5B-DLX in terms of OC la. if really don't want to gamble, try find P5B-DLX with rev 1.04g, very likely to be C2 or P5B-E with rev 1.02g and above.

Obviously overclocking is a hit and miss. No one can guarantee what clockspeed you will be getting, no harm so just try it biggrin.gif Any D9 rams still exist at LYP by the way?
*
didn't notice any D9 but allIT in SS14 Digital Mall got kingston hynix 1G ram. those who wants to get value ram and at the same time wants to oc, get this while you can. hehe...

Mikelanding said Zeus is Etasis..
Sanko said Zues 750/850 is Etasis while 560 and 650 is Enhance.

.. i also dunno how  unsure.gif
*
no. if i'm not mistaken, only Oklahama Wolf in Oc Forums said Zues 560 and 650 is Enhance while most of the ppl cerified it is Etasis. i'm not sure myself. but most saying zues = etasis. 750/850 definately Etasis. as you can see 560 and 650 is kinda different. one single rail one quad rail. btw, if i'm not mistaken, 650 suffer from heat issue according to vr-zone.
