The fees (brokerage, stamp, GST, clearing) are payable at buying, at selling, or both at buying AND selling?

Define "paperwork"? Also, how to know if I had a Direct or Nominee CDS account?
*
Paperwork like stock right or warrant subscription , you can ask broker to do. Need to pay..Include fill form, queue to bank for banker cheque, even buy stamp or post office to send paperwork's. Just pay ...Broker will do for you.

Hi Guys,

I had just opened a account last 2 weeks and have many question on the whole M2U platform as well as general question.

Lets say that I going to place order now, 0820EA @ 1.71, is the minimum order to be 100 lot, i.e, RM171 per unit? or RM1710?

So the total cost of buying will be RM171+8 / RM1710+8? Any other cost that i should know?

it's minimum of 100 shares /lot each time you buy or sell.
so you are right 100 X 1.71 = 171 per lot (not 100 lot, that would be 100 X 100 X 1.71 = ) 17100
your totol cost to purchase one lot of the said shares would be
RM1.71 X 100 + RM8 (min. brokerage) + RM1.00 (stamp duty) + RM0.06 (GST) = RM179.06

oh BTW... I love China too.

Cash Rate is about RM8 or 0.10% while the Collateral Rate is RM28 or 0.4%, can negotiate to reduce it to RM12/0.10%.

Not sure what the overlapping text is. Using IE11 on Win10. Maybe you can try to fully clear all IE11 browser data / cache and restart browser and see if that helps.

You can check with Bursa Malaysia's website. In fact, there are no Maybank brokerage branches in Melaka. You can consider other brokerage houses that are in Melaka including Kenanga or Mercury. If not, the closest location would be in Seremban.

Hi,

I am already trading local and international stocks using Maybank and Maybank Kim Eng trading apps on my PC.

I have been buying US stocks for the past few years and I have a couple of questions pertaining to exchange rates and where to keep your foreign $.

My impression is that Maybank Investment bank FOREX rates are quite good, very close to spot rates quoted on the Internet.

And I do have some US$ in the Maybank Investment Trust account. Would it be better if I open a Maybank Foreign Currency Account (FCA) and keep the US$ there instead?

And if I transfer RM to USD from my savings account to USD FCA, is the rate there better?

Thanks for your feedback and advice.

Hi guys, I am newbie to MBB stock trade panel.

Why when I use calculator, the trading fees shows 0.7% or minimum RM 40?
I was told Online brokerage is 0.1% min RM8 (whichever higher). Call/Offline 0.6% min RM28 (whichever higher).

Is the calculator default to what you apply for? Meaning margin account? ty
