Recently i have bad experience with maybank online stock trading
I key in my online stock trading on saturday. 2days after (monday around noon), i received a call from maybank officer, saying that my entry on saturday was invalid.
She asked me to key in again if i still interested to buy. However, the stock price spiked up already at that time. Worse still, that day was the exdate for dividens payout for that particular stock.
The reason given was their IT system failure. Well, this is not the first time i have this problem.
Last time i only found out the trading was invalid when i checked online after office hour, there was not even a phone call from maybank.
I screw up this poor maybank officer lady nicely, and challenge her that i would like to speak to her manager but she asked me to complaint thro online?!
I also mentioned that i would think of using other investment bank but she said maybank offers the lowest trading charge. However, i had missed a big boat that cause me a fortune here.
so the solution for me is to key in the trading only during the office hour if you were using maybank online stock trading.

I had the same problem too. It has happened at least 2-3 times before. Those times I got a call to notify me of the problem. This time there was no notification. I so happened to look at my order status and saw all the orders were declined. I also called the bank and complained. It was a system problem like before, but I was annoyed there was no notification to let me know. Usually there would be a popup notification when you login. This time there wasn't for me. Only later that afternoon, the popup notification came.
