anyone has problem with the new maybank online trading user interface? it is very unuser-friendly.
The previous user interface contains more information (EPS, DPS, dividend yield, ROE, PE and etc.)
The new one contains nothing...

Guys I have a few questions.

1) How to know if I have a Nominee or Direct CDS account?

2) They opened a Premier 1 account for me when I apply for the share trading facility. Are there any associated charges with this? I already have a normal Maybank savings account. On their website it says Premier 1 has RM5/month charge.

3) When dividend are declared, will Maybank deduct any costs/fees?

As far as I know, nominee account will charge slightly higher because you buy stocks under their name (e.g maybank investment something like that), and thy will handle all the paperworls for your behalf.

Direct account needs upfront cash, slightly less charge but all paperworks had to handle yourselves.

Try approach any maybank investment rep then ask them again. See what they reply.

Define "paperwork"? Also, how to know if I had a Direct or Nominee CDS account?

I dont know mate, cuz I had yet to experience such situation sweat.gif

You can get to know your account type during registring your application for trading account. I think u can check it in your statement as well.

I registered 2 years ago wor. Forget already what I registered for. It was a cash-only account, that much I am certain of. Any details to check on the OST platform under Account Details to know what account I have?

if you receive Annual Report / Dividend directly = direct account.
if nominee then otherwise lo.

I didn't buy anything so far (tomorrow is first time). So I just want to be clear.

The fees (brokerage, stamp, GST, clearing) are payable at buying, at selling, or both at buying AND selling?

Hi guys, I am newbie to MBB stock trade panel.

Why when I use calculator, the trading fees shows 0.7% or minimum RM 40?
I was told Online brokerage is 0.1% min RM8 (whichever higher). Call/Offline 0.6% min RM28 (whichever higher).

Is the calculator default to what you apply for? Meaning margin account? ty

I don't know, but roughly for <RM1000 buy or sell, the fee is RM9.70 one way. RM10.80 for <RM2000, keep adding about RM1.1 - RM1.2 to get a rough idea.

Guys does Maybank charge RM8 per transaction for cash only account? Or is it RM8 per counter regardless how many transactions? Is it RM8 per day, or RM8 per session (morning and afternoon being two separate sessions)?

Maybank Investment Bank is 0.1% or RM8 (no min balance requirement). I been using for over a year. This is for a cash-only (safer!) Direct CDS account.

this was explain very differently on my side via Remiser in Maybank Investment Bank Klang Brance, Menara Trend

Maybank Bank CDS account : Yes 0.1% login via M2U

Maybank Investment Bank CDS account : 0.42% login via powerbroking2u

The higher percentage because the Remiser will help and send some Maybank news / analysis

Not sure if his telling the truth or not. hahah
*
Oh yeah mine is OST M2U. But the remiser does send me the news plus I get the analysis directly from Maybank Investment to my email.

Why waste money? Just go with M2U lah. I used 1yr + no issue at all.

Yes, it's in M2U. Look for the Premier account statement. I don't believe they give out individual contract invoice.

Yeah it depends. I don't think Maybank gives individual contract statements, happy to be proven otherwise.
