Can any of you show me how to transfer money from my maybank account to my trust account in Maybank securities, via maybank2u?
*
The last time I did that, you have to inform your broker that you transfer money to the trust account. You just transfer on your own but their system may miss that, therefore make sure you notify them immediately.

You mean own account transfer or bill payment to maybank investment bank?
*
You can make a bill payment to Maybank Investment Bank.

Once you send the money to MIB, just let them know that you make a payment over to their side.

Did you try to allow "pop-ups" and also reduce the security viewing on IE? It's odd, but yeah that's how that system works.

Anyone find it annoying that M2U trading platform's idling time is too short? One gets log off very fast, sometimes like just less than 5 minutes away from the computer.

Any solution?
*
Depends on the trading platform's mood I guess. Sometimes, 5 minutes, sometimes, 30 minutes.

The only way I know off is to at least find a stock or click on a particular stock/instrument, that'll extend the time temporarily.

Hi all, i buy a stock and status is confirmed. Does it mean i already bought or queeing? Another question is if the i already bought the stocks should it appear in my portfolio? Tq just start to use today
*
If you entered the price and quantity of shares but it's stated in your Order Status as, "Order Confirmed", then your share has yet to being purchased.

You'll know your order has been purchased when your status turns to "All Matched". During this time, your stock should be in your portfolio.

Hope that helps, oh and nice, baby avatar. icon_rolleyes.gif

My money is already in trust account. I tried to key in either days or weeks before, but my queue always come after 8.30am in the morning. My dealer cannot give me the answer.
*
I have no idea as well. Could be related to the queue system? Mine usually only come in after 8:31am be it when selling IPOs or buying in warrants.

hey guys, is there anywhere i can check the live performance of my portfolio during trading hours at the maybank platform? when i click the share portfolio it seems to be stagnant like the day before the portfolio. i cant event find the day's contract notes.. where to find that?
I feel that the trading platform interface is not so user friendly compared to the other banks. cimb itrade, hle broking..
*
You have to go and log in into your trading account online and select My Portfolio. There, the list of shares/warrants you own. It does have a slight delay in the movement through occasionally but it is near to or it's the real-time live performance of your shares.

Hope that helps!

anyone has problem with the new maybank online trading user interface? it is very unuser-friendly.
The previous user interface contains more information (EPS, DPS, dividend yield, ROE, PE and etc.)
The new one contains nothing...

Are you on Chrome or Safari?

It will be better if you use Internet Explorer. The interface shown in the photo is just not what I usually used. It can be accessible at Live Quotes but even recently, as you log into your trading account, the browser will ask you to download the files from Excel Force and BTS2. Those are the real trading interface. Hope this helps. smile.gif

Yeah, as far as this issue is concerned, I really agree with you regarding the trading platform of Maybank.

In fact, I have highlighted this issue to their hotline that other trading platforms i.e. HLIB, RHB, Kenanga are way ahead in terms of functionality and user-interface and that the BTS2 trading system is not updated, if you noticed the price cab data, it has yet to be updated since 2013. Some even have stop orders and option for minimum quantity required to fulfill.

I've seen Kenanga's and I must say regardless whichever online application you use (IE, Chrome, Safari) it can be workable. Just that for the fanciness of the graphs, trade monitors etc, IE is still the best. Maybank has a lot of work to carch up on.

buy n sell fees for per transaction..

Cash Rate is about RM8 or 0.10% while the Collateral Rate is RM28 or 0.4%, can negotiate to reduce it to RM12/0.10%.

Can i open cds acc at any maybank branch? Melaka
*
You can check with Bursa Malaysia's website. In fact, there are no Maybank brokerage branches in Melaka. You can consider other brokerage houses that are in Melaka including Kenanga or Mercury. If not, the closest location would be in Seremban.

Im have both cash rate and collateral trading account, i presume the negotiation to a lower rate is the collateral account yea?

may i know how did u negotiate to reduce to a lower rate? i do find the collateral rate is relatively high

Thank you for your advice and reply.
*
It will depend on how much your contract value is. Though it will difficult for me to define the tenure of the contract value, I assume it is during the one year. If you want to play for say 0.1%, trade a sum of 6 figures throughout the year, both purchase and sales. Probably then, you can qualify to negotiate the deal.

How to apply tis 0.1% acc with maybank? I already hv cds under Kenanga but fees 0.42%
*
The cash account is 0.1%, the one you are having for the Kenanga account is the collateral account, which gives you the ability to leverage your gains. Same with Maybank, they charge around 0.42%.

Yeah i knw , tis cash acc is good for me cause i only buy wiv the $ i hv in bank acc ,  tak suka play hutang1. So i still need to open another cds account wiv maybank for the cash acc?
*
If you want the 0.1% then I guess you do need to open. But the thing is, you could negotiate with the broker for a reductionin commission rates if you are a trader or big volume investor.

You need a trust account, opened with Maybank Investment Bank. Nothing to do with the Premier Account.

Apologies, could not get that part. Are you perhaps referring to the 2nd and 3rd best buy and best sell?

yes I think that's it. How Does the system queue for our selection
*
2nd and 3rd best buy and sell does not make any difference whether you get an instantaneous match. You may queue your order when buying or selling at the 2nd or 3rd level but it will not match until the best buy or sell on the top is cleared on either sides. Placing an order in advance, your order may get matched earlier when queuing at the next price. Hope this helps! biggrin.gif

Hi,
what is 'trading pin' on the buy page for? How to get it?
After open a CDS account, i must apply for either margin or non-margin financing trading?
*
You have to set it on your own when signing up for the CDS. If your password is forgotten, try calling Maybank Investment Hotline.
After opening a CDS, you can apply for either margin or non-margin financing, it depends entirely up to you. The normal CDS account usually have non-margin financing unless requested.

Hope it helps.

alright, thanks. i guess i will have to call the hotline for the pin.
So i dun need to have margin/non-margin financing account to trade right. I prefer the non-margin method.
*
You do not need to have the margin facility to finance. If you prefer no leverage at all and want to solely use cash, there is an option for the cash account. nod.gif

Newbie here. Any taiko can clarify :

1. The Best Buy queue means ppl queue to buy at that price or, it's the recommendation of Maybank its Best Buy at xxx?
Vice versa to best sell queue...
2. Off track a bit if anyone of you using klse screener, I also confuse with ask and bid , which one is sell and which one is buy?
3. What's are the order status means ? Confirmed, queue, pending? I send buy order today say same stock, buy at 1.0, and 1.2. BUT only 1.0 is confirmed, 1.2 is pending. Shares goes by the day, the price now is at 1.2 it doesn't match. Until I remove the order and resend again, it matched ... may I know why is that? Rugi oh.....
*
1) Its not Maybank's recommendated price, but rather it is the current market's offering and selling prices. On the best buy, as you mentioned, people key in the order and waits till it gets matches.

2) In simple analogy,
If you key in at best buy to sell - Immediately will get matched to sell as it is market order.

If you key in at best sell to buy - Immediately will get matched to buy as it is market order.

If you key in at best buy to buy - You queue to get the price while waiting for your turn to buy. This can be a best limit buy order.

If you key in at best sell to sell - You queue to get the price while waiting for your turn to sell. This can be a best limit sell order.

Should you key in at any price below or above the best bid and ask respectively, you also go on a waiting list and will not get matched until the below or above levels at cleared.

Number 3 is pretty much explained above, hope it helps. biggrin.gif
