No la, this one actually first case of shitty stuff.

amdmy can solve my powercolor r9 270 or not...for false advertising...i got a 1024stream prossesor card was hoing a 1024 one....the box and resit also no statef that i am buying a 1024 stream prossesor card 😞.
btw my card in is rma atm

only 1 white sticker they stick thte write 1024SP
which i dun know wat that mean at that time

Actually they've impoved a lot since yesteryears
I've had 2 faulty ASUS devices where the RMA process for their products is completed in a very short time

In January, I send an R9 280x for RMA because the fan has stopped moving, 19 days later they came back to me with a completely new card

And then in this month, I sent a ZenFone 2 for RMA because the phone is unable to detect SIM cards in both slot, send it to ASUS service center in Digital Mall on Tuesday 5 July. 4 days later (Saturday 9 July) received an SMS saying the repairs is completed

now thinking about GCN 1.3 or pascal

Here's the problem.

If the white sticker says 1024 SP, twice. and the GPU-Z shows 1024 SP

Then they're not doing false advertising. Even their website doesn't state it.

they can also say during manufacturing there are changes

then printed clearly on box as well

SP is stream processor, the number of cores on your graphic card. Typically, Nvidia and AMD have different GPU architecture, so this is not a good way to compare if more SP means better performance. Between the same brand, if you compare between the same generation (and default core clock), then yes, usually more SP means more performance.

1024 SP is actually R7 265 / HD 7850 level. A R9 270 has 1280 SP. You will lose roughly around 15 - 20% performance. Read here and here.
