It would be others unless you explore options like buying online (perhaps Lazada) but you only get 5% capped at RM30).

Or....can do innovative things like what I did when buying my phone.

I used my PBB VS and supplementary cards to buy gift cards at AEON big, which gave me 6% because marked as grocery. At the time it was also a promotional campaign with additional cashback 5%. So total savings 11%. I used the gift cards to buy my Galaxy S6 from Aeon Big during a promotion.

If you do the same with CIMB CR you will get 2% grocery cashback, capped at 50.

Applied online last month. No response from them for so long the application also bo liao from their system. Called the CS, gave them piece of my mind about it. Was told that the sales team will follow up later.

Or in other words: Never.

Already got it since early Nov. Just for Golden Lounge access since it gives 2x every anniversary year and no AF.

It will be sent to you directly by CIMB, however it could take up to 4-6 weeks after you received the card.

I'm going to cancel the VI card since the PB VS card is much more worthy for me with 3x PPL access with no minimum spending annually renewed wink.gif

The only CIMB card that worthy to keep for cash back purpose is CIMB CR. The rest of their cards, even those on higher ends don't seem attractive.

Even AmBank VI and WMC wins hands down - unlimited PPL access and free AF.
