QUOTE(kel32 @ Dec 3 2016, 05:00 PM) is Goodyear NCT5 good enough for normal usage? I had NCT5 as stock tyres for my proton persona. In my opinion, it's too "rough", noisy, uncomfortable, when compared to my current Toyo neo energy3 . There are better tyres other than this crappy nct5, such as Dunlop J sport.

im looking to replace tyre on camry. 215/55R17. was quoted rm480 for michelin primacy ST and RM 330 for Toyo Nanoenergy (prices incl. GST).
I'm inclined to try the Toyo tires.. any feedback?
Car is mostly used for town driver, sometimes outstation once every 2 months or so.. Car low mileage since its a town/pasar car.

Hi Sifu, I am thinking to change my car (VW Polo Sedan) default tyre size (185/60R15) to new size (195/55R15). May I know any different /impact on the car comfortness, fuel efficent n car chassis suspensions beside the tyre looks smaller abit, handling better n more tyre choices in the market? Thanks

Thanks chassis suspension no issue. fuel might increase a bit la but not significant. impact might be slightly harder.and speedometer might run abit la.

I've been looking around and found Dunlop D05 is quite an all rounder tire and I like it. Too bad it doesnt come in 14".
Anyone can recommend a similar tire like D05? Mine is 175/65R14

Any recommendation for 195/50R15 ?
Budget RM150 per piece.
Currently in list I found fits the budget is TOYO NanoEnergy 3 & Dunlop Formula D05.
Most travelling in city area. Therefore Comfort and Grip (wet especially) is preferable.
