I had NCT5 as stock tyres for my proton persona. In my opinion, it's too "rough", noisy, uncomfortable, when compared to my current Toyo neo energy3 . There are better tyres other than this crappy nct5, such as Dunlop J sport.

Yes, this tyre is crap. Understeer really bad.

hi there...what options availabe now for 205/45/17?

Kia Rio?

Yokohama Fleva, Hankook V12, Michelin PS4.

I suggested these because Rio originally came with Continental performance tires CSC5.

If you want cheaper tires, there are also economical tires but at the expense of performance.

I don't think Primacy 4 comes with a 40 profile tyre. Smallest is 45.

For UHP category, actually Michelin PS4 is considered the most comfortable already

Fleva more comfortable IMO.

You changed?

No need la... only recommended to change if sidewall bulging. In your case, just lose a small chunk of rubber. It does not affect anything. What really holds the integrity of a tyre is the wire mesh cooked into the tyre construction. That's why it is recommended to change when sidewall bulging because the wire mesh inside already compromised. Not sure just bended or snapped thus advisable to replace.
