maybe will go tenggol for fun dives. Is this good place for diving?
Any recommendation DC there?

i think there are 2 dive centers there and a possible 3rd dive center which im not too sure about that, theres 1 on the island itself and 1 on the mainland which im signed up on called tenggol scuba 101

I personally don't like Tenggol. There are only 3 DC on the island and I think 1 DC on mainland.

somehow i heard its less visited by tourists,which is good, i mean tioman is overcrowded or so i heard from a family friend who dives frequently. i guess whatever floats your lead balloon x.D

oooo..... less tourist is good. haha. i like less tourist. but the price is a bit expensive if compares to tioman.

Hmmm.. is that good to take advance together. Coz they recommend to take it once as the price is about the same for fun dives 3d/2n.
But I just hv OW n not much dive then.... not sure is better take it once or later.

How bout urs guys with super experience already advice ....?

DEET and picaridin/icaridin offers bug repellent properties. I heard for flies picaridin is thought to be more effective than DEET for the same concentration. Go for minimum 10% concentration for adequate duration of protection.

I do not have extensive experience across various brands but i've used Nobite before. Just look around for picaridin/icaridin as the active ingredient and it should work as well.

Good choice.

AOW will help fine tune your skills and prep you for more challenging leisure dives in the future. It's not that difficult and I would say if you have the time and opportunity to go ahead and do both together, then go ahead.

I personally prefer to have a few dives first to get used to the whole diving thing then learn the additional AOW knowledge. It's really up to you though.

A bit hard to choose, haha. feel have few dives first then AOWD. On the other side, upgrade to AOWD with same cost paying for fun dives...
