You need to register on the day before you enter. Bring your own pen and fill up while queueing. It can be quite crowded during registration.

I would say Saturday and Sunday go earlier. If after 12 noon then sure very long queue already.

certification is the same price as owd (ssi/padi).. I also wonder why.. but freedive trainning and knowledge is absolute must.

also never freedive after scuba dive... before scuba is ok
dive trips by organizer price about the same as scuba..
only self organize are really cheap, just need to rent boat..
freeding fins are RM380 above.. you can get cheap at MIDE around RM260 or buy used ones.
freeding mask (RM160 above) are low volume self equalize with every good view even thou glass look small, dont be deceived by the looks. Its design with input from sprear fishing community who need superb field of view to target prized fish hehehe too bad malaysia need licence to own speargun... same like firearms... dammit malaysia.. this is money making tourism and selective fishing unlike trawler fishing..

you can use freedive equipement for scuba.. freedive fins are long so you kick less during scuba..
