QUOTE(Drian @ Jun 23 2016, 02:22 PM) so is anyone planning to change their suspension to stiffer springs? Why would you do this to a new car, furthermore new model, I don't think got aftermarket parts available specific to it.I'm curious how well it rides with stiffer springs. You void warranty and possible so much issue which you have to solve at outside workshop with no experience. QUOTE(lwliam @ Jun 23 2016, 02:43 PM) Correct me if im wrong, but i believe a turbo spool does not have liquid, its merely compressing air right? Fuel doesn't touch any turbo components right? Yes.. maybe the fellow talking about aftermarket fitted turbo to non-turbo car which can run with a rich a/f ratio. At most its cooling oil / liquid that needs to be pumped AROUND the turbo siput. |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Jun 23 2016, 02:43 PM) Correct me if im wrong, but i believe a turbo spool does not have liquid, its merely compressing air right? Fuel doesn't touch any turbo components right? The impeller get spun by the exhaust gas pressure after combustion. Traces of fuel from incomplete combustion still reaches it. Some very minor amount of engine oil also can leak into it as the oil seal is something like a piston ring, not completely sealed off but good enough to stop major amounts of oil escaping. At most its cooling oil / liquid that needs to be pumped AROUND the turbo siput. The turbo in this civic is water cooled, meaning the water will circulate around the jacket housing of the "siput". So if water pump fail, hehehehe.... |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jun 23 2016, 02:01 PM) So excited! My SA informed me that my car arrived at the dealership already. If they manage to register it with JPJ today, I shall get it either this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest! My car arrived at the dealer on Tuesday. Only got the chassis number weds, today settle payment and docs sent to runner to do registration tomorrow (manual cos number is bought from 3rd party). Tinting scheduled for tomorrow and only can get car likely on Monday cos jpj needs at least 1 working day to do manual registration and number plate transfer. |
