Dead serious bro. Pop the trunk and you'll be greeted by a bar latched between the back of the seats and the trunk.
*
wow, why would they remove such a basic feature?
we seldom use this but its good to have once a while when we need to transport large or long stuffs.

QUOTE(93126668 @ Jun 23 2016, 01:25 PM)
this does not affect new Civic at all. Up to 2011 models only. doh.gif

Rear folding seats. The new Civic doesn't have it.
*
Good also. Folding seats are not an important feature.
Sacrificing that for the rear strut bar is a wise move thumbup.gif
If I wanted to use the car for carrying large cargo, I would have gotten an SUV.

btw guys, is there anything in the manual that speaks about how to look after the Turbo engine when turning off? I'm referring to the 'revving before turning off engine' or on other words, clearing the spool of unburnt fuel. Some modern cars just tell you to leave the engine running for a while...

If this new turbo engine need such action, i assume Honda should implement within the car, not manual from the driver.

so is anyone planning to change their suspension to stiffer springs?
I'm curious how well it rides with stiffer springs.

Once changed, warranty void. I don't want to take the risk.

During the "FD civic" era, I remember there were many who modified their suspension.

For those features like LaneWatch I think for budget wise to remove that is ok. For rain sensor, it does not cost much, that is a basic feature these days, it should be included. Foldable onot, for bicycle is quite useful but I tested even it is not foldable, it can keep one bicycle into boot, so for me is enough.

Even though it would not be a decision maker for buyers, but it definitely can boost the profile of civic if they provided that.

Was at the Honda Bukit Bintang showroom just now. There was a 1.8L white test drive car outside. After seeing the white up close, it doesn't seem that impressive. The Toyota Altis white is actually much better.

Correct me if im wrong, but i believe a turbo spool does not have liquid, its merely compressing air right? Fuel doesn't touch any turbo components right?

At most its cooling oil / liquid that needs to be pumped AROUND the turbo siput.

Yes, you can adjust when you want it to lock / unlock!

You can set it to lock at certain speeds, or lock when you shift from P
