They farming users money every month as they have expiry date. You need to topup every month now.
Previously won't be able to port out due to 'this is broadband number, you can't port out' and a lot of excuses.

Now either you port out to other telco or you upgrade the plan to their postpaid plan. I have to switch to lowest postpaid plan and port out straight away as their policy is 'take your money for 1 month bill first, and if you port out, we won't rebate back for remaining unused days'. Worst telco ever!

I had spoken with CS and store person. Only is upgrade to postpaid broadband with 12 months contract. !@$%%&*

I did port out my numbers to OneXOX.
Telcos are greedy, especially YES in this case. They want your money and won't allow you to port out.
BUT you have the power, consumer power. Escalate this matter to MCMC/SKMM. My case solve quite fast!
No need to upgrade to postpaid and tie up on their stupid contract. I able to upgrade to their new postpaid plan and port out few days later.
Teach this YES a lesson, I definitely won't come back to this useless telco.

According to "Yes" trick, do you settle your postpaid bill after port out? They may surprise you with certain outstanding.
Do you pay LTE "activation fee" RM100?
Which categories you complaint to MCMC about Yes?

You need to pay any outstanding first before able to port out. That's why you need to port out ASAP before new bill come out.

Just click the red image on yes website on the bottom. No need to choose category, just straight away email them. Dont agree something that benefit them telco, if still unsatisfied their solution, escalate it to SKMM. Yes will give you a solution that maybe you need to contract first before able to port out in reason this is broadband, no physical sim card, system cannot able to convert it to new plan, etc. They will give a lot of excuses just to make sure you wont be able to switch to another telco.

iPhone sold in Malaysia is confirmed supporting the TDD-LTE variant, in fact iPhone is one of the small number of smartphones that support wide range of LTE bands.

I guess the VoLTE is not enabled somewhere.

Yes 4G doesn't seem to have a native support on iOS devices, but it doesn't mean Yes 4G SIM card are 100% won't work on iOS devices.
Like @ngyinchew 's case, Yes 4G can work on his iPhone Xs and Xs Max, but it's data-only but VoLTE are not supported.
You can try buy the prepaid card of Yes 4G first to try out on your iPad Air 2. So that at least you won't waste too much money in case if it doesn't work.
