QUOTE(acab_acap02 @ Feb 12 2017, 12:28 PM) Im interested using yes 1mbps home broadband . and the coverage in my area 4g lte and 4g broadband. Im using it for online gaming. Does the ping good ? And any pcket loss ? Ty for opnion guys Yes 1mbps is running on wimax network. And it availability depend on your registered location.Last week my friend want to apply it but been told that his location is fully occupied. From other source mentioned that Yes dealer stop assigning Yes 1mbps from YTL. Above true or not, you may need to visit your nearest YES dealer to confirm it. Be aware that it come with contract if you applied it. About the connection quality, you may need to try it because your location distance to network tower make the different. To save your pocket from the contract penalty. Do ask Yes Dealer nearby your area to do network test at your home or borrow yes device from your friend to do test. |

QUOTE(xisan @ Nov 21 2018, 06:37 PM) They farming users money every month as they have expiry date. You need to topup every month now. I had spoken with CS and store person. Only is upgrade to postpaid broadband with 12 months contract. !@$%%&*Previously won't be able to port out due to 'this is broadband number, you can't port out' and a lot of excuses. Now either you port out to other telco or you upgrade the plan to their postpaid plan. I have to switch to lowest postpaid plan and port out straight away as their policy is 'take your money for 1 month bill first, and if you port out, we won't rebate back for remaining unused days'. Worst telco ever! |

QUOTE(xisan @ Nov 21 2018, 11:49 PM) I did port out my numbers to OneXOX. According to "Yes" trick, do you settle your postpaid bill after port out? They may surprise you with certain outstanding.Telcos are greedy, especially YES in this case. They want your money and won't allow you to port out. BUT you have the power, consumer power. Escalate this matter to MCMC/SKMM. My case solve quite fast! No need to upgrade to postpaid and tie up on their stupid contract. I able to upgrade to their new postpaid plan and port out few days later. Teach this YES a lesson, I definitely won't come back to this useless telco. Do you pay LTE "activation fee" RM100? Which categories you complaint to MCMC about Yes? |

QUOTE(xisan @ Nov 22 2018, 01:45 PM) You need to pay any outstanding first before able to port out. That's why you need to port out ASAP before new bill come out. Oh... I straight lodged SKMM complaint.Just click the red image on yes website on the bottom. No need to choose category, just straight away email them. Dont agree something that benefit them telco, if still unsatisfied their solution, escalate it to SKMM. Yes will give you a solution that maybe you need to contract first before able to port out in reason this is broadband, no physical sim card, system cannot able to convert it to new plan, etc. They will give a lot of excuses just to make sure you wont be able to switch to another telco. We are in same story line. Wondering how the story twist? Yes called you and said, dear customer, we would like to make special arrangement for you to switch your BB to LTE plan? |

After 8 years experienced with Yes4G, unfortunately had left this telco today.
Their costly but stable network brought enjoyment during traveling time at highway, VOIP from oversea, and new resident area without cable internet. The wimax allow single account with multiple devices had let me invested two zoom, two huddle modems to implement what i needed. Too bad last year they shorten my prepaid validation period without user consent. And no official way for wimax user to MNP. Logged case to MCMC request convert to LTE, finished all my balances. Finally port out successful. At this moment, my view on Yes LTE, didn't has competitive package, mobility, coverage still need to improve. Let see what is Yes4G in future. |
