that day i walk in KL,and saw many shop already selling N95 and price also cheap,only rm2899,because b4 i thought this powerful hp will sell arround 3000-4000(since n90 also sell 3299 b4),
since this hp sell 2899,will u still buy n93,i think no ,because n93 sell 2400++,add bit bit can get 5mp camera hp with GPS |

nokia is just testing the market with higher mpx.. as u can c.. so far new nokia models announce still stick with 2mpx... only 1 3mpx and 1 5mpx.. wouldnt be long when a better 3mpx and 5mpx phone will come out.. btw.. the price is ok la.. over 3k better go for 8800 lo.. class.. function talak..

one thing for sure, I would certainly dump that iPhone and opt for N95 or N97 next year. If I have much much more idle cash...

The specs are impressive but the button placement is a little odd and not user friendly. It would be good if it comes with touchscreen.

There is still one short coming for N95, no optical zoom. Why on earth Nokia pull this nice feature off from N95??? The purple edge still there on the photo
 Heard that the GPS function on N95 need the GPRS/3G to be on??? Is this true. My GarminGPSmap76c don't need to have and GPRS or 3G, all it takes only 4sats. to home in my location, why N95 is different? I already have 2G of MiniSD on my existing N93 still very tight on capacity. Now can N95 supports up to 4G MiniSD? Lastly, where can i get one in Penang. I've been sourcing around for this phone but to no avail  , i need a new phone now urgently. |

1. You can download maps from the server for free 2. You have to pay for the premium voice direction command 3. Getting a GPS signal is free, which is true for any device 4. When isit going to be launched?!?!?! |

Asus P535 and Glofish Eten M700. and personally, i'll stick to a pdaphone. main reasons, touch screen, easier to navigate GPS, easier to browse net, can play better games than any phone, (PS emulator, GBA emulator etc etc, Age of Empires Gold just like PC version, Warcraft 2), and better organiser. my two cents. edit: And cheaper and less of the "restarting problem" nokia is facing too. best GPS is malsing maps leh. And malsing maps is the most updated, better than Mapking, and i dun think malsing maps supports N95. U have to buy the Mapking software separately first, cuz i dun think N95 comes with mapking also

I think the threatstarter needs to correct the thread title, since there arent any N95 available at all in town. those who had not read the thread in its entirety will be excited to see that the N95 already launched only to be disappointed by the false alarm.
Im going to Zurich and Frankfurt within this month, could get the N95 from there too. But i would rather get it locally than outside the country for ease of liasing in case of anything goes wrong. But if i buy them from these two cities, the possibility of scoring a Finnish-made N95 is pretty good. Hmmmm...... |

Oh snap! Thanks for the info, Glau. My stay in Zurich is an extended nightstop, will be there for 3 nights. I could drive over to the surrounding neighbour countries (German,France or Italy to the south), and see hows the stock there. Would rather not waste this long stay by just staying in hotel only.
If it's THAT bloody hard to come by, might as well wait for the local launch. Im NOT going back to that Windows Mobile crap. Uninspiring design among other things. If i need a PDA, im already carrying the Vaio UX, which performs miles better than any PDA could ever dream of. |

I have no idea whats the shop name, coz I was waiting for my friend. Then when I saw it, just ask is AP or Zitron, and when the fella replied, my friend rang me up and I went off... I remembered it was at the first floor. Somewhere at the middle... You might visit to kotaraya when you free..

ya..i understand there are alot ppl dealing business and their phones cannot leave them for a minute, buden nonid all also so damn canggih wan mar. mayb 1 most canggih wan den others abit less canggih-er lo, if not ppl see edi also stone lar..like if u have 3 numbers..1 838pro, 1 n95, 1 p990i. lol using all at same time haha.

... anyways.. i think have to wait till after CNY as the news here is getting very quiet and slow...the best 2 phones i've ever carried together was 2 V3 when it was just released.. was in singapore when both the V3 rang, ppl there looking at me like i was some sort of freak maybe i am... even holding both the V3 together is even smaller than most phones out right now.. |

i have played with N95 last week, the GPS function damn cool....

Believe me, i've looked around.....zero! Im ready anytime to go down to Singapore the minute they have news on local availability, even import sets, but even import sets are nonexistant there!
One guy from Singapore had his N95 shipped from Cologne, Germany....and that's it. I've grown tired of waiting, and have traded in my N93 for N93i for a small fee. That will hold my interest until March, when N95 supposedly ships. Now all features/function on the N93i phone works, including Home Network sharing (previously it doesnt work on my old N93, even SimpleCenter failed to detect the phone). No need to transfer content to PC to show that Disneyland trip movie you captured on the phone to friends/family, no need to plug the phone into the TV using TV out, just wirelessly stream via your home wifi network. Im ready anytime to go down to Singapore the minute they have news on local availability, even import sets, but even import sets are nonexistant there! yeah!...this waiting game of n95 really make people bored... One guy from Singapore had his N95 shipped from Cologne, Germany....and that's it. I've grown tired of waiting, and have traded in my N93 for N93i for a small fee. That will hold my interest until March, when N95 supposedly ships. Now all features/function on the N93i phone works, including Home Network sharing (previously it doesnt work on my old N93, even SimpleCenter failed to detect the phone). No need to transfer content to PC to show that Disneyland trip movie you captured on the phone to friends/family, no need to plug the phone into the TV using TV out, just wirelessly stream via your home wifi network. Joy! Or..... next weekend can scour Paris for N95, but from the looking of things, chances are slim. other brand is bringing their new phone in...but nokia.... wah!...really that good n93i? |

If you guys really need a GPS-coupled with phone; i wouldn't recommend the N-series. The map for MY in my test with Nokia Map with my BT GPSr and N80 is outdated... And I really mean outdated... My house inn't in the map; the SILK highway isn't there; and I confirmed that the map is based on Google Maps (2005).
I think for Stringfellow; the maps he installed is updated since oversea maps are always updated... The MY maps are OK in certain areas, but in other parts of MY, it isn't especially my area. LOL... I assumed the maps used my Stringfellow are not MY, rite? Since Stringfellow always travels overseas; the maps are awesome... Cannot blame Google for not updating the maps since everyday; Sammy Vellu always add some roads here and there. One minute there is one road, another minute there are four roads at the same place... I strongly recommend a PPC/WM5 phone/PDA since the maps from local developers using Garmin is absolutely updated weekly. And my best SW for the PPC/WM5 is still Garmin Que/Garmin Mobile XT (3D capable); I tried MapKing 10 but the GUI, the respond, the navigation etc still not as good as Garmin (personally)... And the SW only available for PPC/WM5; that's the main reason I will keep my Softbank X01HT (Dopod 838 Pro variant)... Wanna get a BT GPSr? If you want to invest something on GPSr; I would strongly suggest Garmin GPSr since the latest Garmin SW (Gamin Mobile XT) is capable of doing navigation in 3D... Other GPSr such as Holux etc is also good but cannot use the Garmin Mobile XT yet (since GPSproxy is not compatible with Garmin Mobile XT)... The Garmin 10x is available in Low Yat for RM750 or more. If you want it cheaper, buy online or meet a dealer in Seremban (kennytoo from Malsingmaps.com) for RM700 also. I got mine after two days of Garmin release from him when KL was selling at RM1100... LOL... PM me for his phone number... Sorry for late reply. Went to Perlis for Family member wedding during CNY and man; my Garmin 10x works like a charm with the latest map... got a call from singapore regarding some new gadgets and the n95 is there as well.. the price ranges from SGD$1300-1450.. no details on the warranty or firmware revision as official nokia outlets does not have it there or knows when they will be having it.. the official pricing is supposed to be around SGD$1000-1150..

Im still looking for the imaginary shop in Kotaraya myself. Didnt want to imagine things anymore and ended up getting the N93i. Best purchase ever. Paired it with Garmin BT GPS, GPS sensitivity tons better than the non-SirfStar III reported on the N95. Ended up taking up GPS as a serious hobby now. If i had kept on waiting for N95, my arse would have grown roots already.

N95 already release in Singapore, @ S$1288 Dollar,
after convert is around M$2898 Ringgit. (2.25 exchange rate) Quite awesome the N95... But too expensive to own it. |

yesterday i go to s.wang,already have what,

when to low yat just now, the cheapest i ask is RM3150 ready stock, the other price like rm3388, rm3399...(AP set)
then ask in nokia shop, they say still don't have, but can order first, and need to wait for 2 weeks, coz many order already. and the price at first he told me less than RM3500 then later on he say RM3199(Zitron) not sure how true is it la ...coz he keep on asking me to place order first... |
