Guys; I spent about 2 hours searching for any shop selling N95; from anywhere near petaling street to any shops inside kotaraya and I have to inform that there is no shop selling N95. Maybe I missed some of the shops but I think all the shops mentioned is not selling the N95.

If you guys can confirm this, please let us know... As for now; I will consider this as hoax or maybe I did missed the shops (low possibility)...

Please bear in mind that those phones that you saw in youtube or any other site are demo sets which nokia maybe handed them for a short time for review... This always happens when they want to launch new products... The people who gets this oppurtunity will always be from the media...

But anyway Zac1; thanks... I will try to go one more time and will confirm to you guys today evening... Thanks...

Yup, maybe I failed yesterday; but today, I am going in again... To reconfirm... If I find it; I will buy it... and will post some pictures of it...

Anyway, if any other members find any shop selling N95; please tell the location and the price.

I saw one shop having N95 dummy set in Sri Serdang (between Ban Soon and Poliklinik Penawar) but it's a dummy set (and I was getting excited)... LOL...

Hehhehe... I knew it. Faker... He was so confident and tell me that he saw it... But I guess he isn't...

If you were talking about N95; by considering the spec of the phone; 5MP; WiFi, DVD-like Video Capture (Some says not near to DVD quality), GPS, OS 9.2, BT, FP1 etc; I think it's worth it and a good buy also... Unless N97 came out the same time... BTW, anyone saw any image of N97 yet?

If N93i; well a review stated that it's more than just an upgrade... Much better than N93.... But I will stick to my N93....

wah!...once every two weeks...cool... thumbup.gif
anyway...mind to share some pictures of how is it looked like... nod.gif
is it in the phone or car radio devices? hmm.gif

I think he is referring to the in car GPS (Nuvi /GPSmile or something)... The map is always uptodate... Sometimes, once a week; sometimes twice a week. So frequent update is a must... For GPS map of Malaysia; you can always get it free and updated... And I am not referring to MapKing maps... I am using a Garmin map... Even speed trap areas are also included as POI (Point of Interests)...

Use GPS cun woooo... Can always arrive in new places in time.... Hheheeh...

But this is not a GPS thread directly... It's about N95 and its GPS... BTW, I read a post about N95 GPS somewhere in I-Symbian forum. The image of the GPS shows 'Damansara'.... Giller babi jap aku tengok; terus fall inlove with N95...

ROFL, so, you're going for "brand". A brand, which i must remind u, until now, has not worked out all the firmware bugs of all the N series, and already produced a new N. I can predict now, all the N95 users complaining of firmware bugs that N93 had. Restarting, lag, hanging.
*
Ehem; I am a N93 user. And I didn't have any problems with my Nokki... Even Microsoft do have problems but still millions of users using XP, 2000, now Vista... They patch the software and so is Nokia updating their firmware, using NSU... Or you do on your own with custom flashing....

Yeah, baronic can be satisfied with the Asus PXXX touchscreen bla bla bla; but I also owned a PPC (Dopod 838 Pro) and I found that Asus don't have HSDPA, Dopod does; Nokia N95 does; so bye bye Asus... You won't stand a chance... Unless you release a PDA with WiMax.... LOL

lol, no prob guys. no offence taken. just trying to be a devil's advocate, making sure people have realli decided they want N95 instead of seeing "wa everyone talking about N95, so before my brain processes my decision i quickly follow crowd and buy the N95 also"

Btw, if u dunno wat is p535 just google lor. Asus P535 and Glofish Eten M700.

and personally, i'll stick to a pdaphone. biggrin.gif

main reasons, touch screen, easier to navigate GPS, easier to browse net, can play better games than any phone, (PS emulator, GBA emulator etc etc, Age of Empires Gold just like PC version, Warcraft 2), and better organiser. my two cents.

edit: And cheaper and less of the "restarting problem" nokia is facing too.
*
You might be rite on certain apps; but I don't think many ppl tends to like PPC type phones; some of them sell it back for less than 1 week of use... I have 4 frens selling it back... Donno why but they say cannot get used to it... But for me, any phone (PPC/WM5/Symbian/UIQ) does have pro and con.

As for GPS, I cannot deny that using WM5/PPC is the best thing yet since the maps are well update by MY/SG ppl; but who knows how the N95 GPS mapping will be. I am sure Nokia wants something when they integrate the GPS into N95... A small % of GPS marketshare (maybe hoping to grow to be more?), who knows...

'Restarting'? Heheeee, even PPC/WM5 needs to reset what... Don't lie to me... Sometimes it needs one, rite...

smile.gif Now I recall that you use GPS at work all the time. smile.gif Must be very exciting eh? tongue.gif

SC, I think Ninja from PSP thread tested the GPS unit... You can find the hread under PSP Thread...

I think the threatstarter needs to correct the thread title, since there arent any N95 available at all in town. those who had not read the thread in its entirety will be excited to see that the N95 already launched only to be disappointed by the false alarm.

Im going to Zurich and Frankfurt within this month, could get the N95 from there too. But i would rather get it locally than outside the country for ease of liasing in case of anything goes wrong. But if i buy them from these two cities, the possibility of scoring a Finnish-made N95 is pretty good. Hmmmm......
*
New info; my sister just came back from SG; she told me that N93i already available in SG as posted in one of the thread here but N95 should be availbe next week but warranty is not from local Nokia (SG)...

not really.. at least nokia is confirmed to made it widely available in UK from march on. so that normally meant it will be in UK by end of february.. not sure will it reach malaysia the same time not, as ori set tooks 1-2 weeks later to reach malaysia compare to europe
*
Agreed; but when the launch in MY is already ahead of UK, wouldn't it be good if it is available earlier than UK?

In S60.com blog; the blogger also mentioned that N95 is already available in Asia-Pacific and some parts of Europe. Maybe because of FW problem; the N95 is not distributed widely...

Guys; what about N92? GSMarena.com stated that it's available; anyone saw this model in KL? And please don't tell me that you saw in Petaling Street, Kota Raya etc... LOL...

QUOTE(unknowndevices @ Feb 5 2007, 12:08 AM)
yes seen n93i already... smile.gif
but no news about n95... unsure.gif
wah! wonder when will it be out...Nokia keep on playing with the waiting game.... cool.gif
*
Not only Nokia; even Polyphony (developer for GT, GT2, GT3, GT4, GT:HD, soon GT5 and GT4 Mobile (vaporware)) also made me waiting.... rclxub.gif

Latest price for N93i is RM2960 as if referred in Lelong. Hopefully N95 not higher than RM3100
