Bare in mind that phone doesnt has any backgroud application running that will consume your speed. Computers has a lot of other background applications running that cause you to get a slower speed test result.

Hi guys, got a question here.

So, currently i'm using the VIP20 plan and the setup is in a bedroom.

Now, i'm wondering would it be a good move to change to the new Unifi 30 ?
and also, i'm planning to change the location of the router setup to my living room as there are a few blindspots in the house currently. How much would that cost?

Thanks.

if u using ac wifi router, the wifi speed much better than fast ethernet LAN( normally ac router can support gigabit LAN)
ac wifi can reach 200-800mbps depending on the performance.
fast ethernet LAN max 100mbps

btw, if ur pc can only reach 4.8-4.9( 39mbps), something wrong with ur network/pc/lan. it should able to transfer 90mbps ++ ( local transfer, not internet)

Guys, I want to ask something. Currently this is the setting and location of devices in my living room. So you can see, currently I cant use hypptv and my android box running on wifi. Im not a tech savvy guy so if I to buy a powerline adapter, can I use hypptv and LAN connection for my TV?

The setup would be like:

BTU unit to powerline adapter at power socket at wall b
Then from powerline adapter at wall a, connect it to tplink router
Tplink router out for 1. Android box and 2. Hypptv box
Then hypptv box to my tv.

Can it be done? Will it affect the speed?
