You mean your phone line? If it is phone line, you cant merge two lines into one phone. It will not work and may destroy your stuffs.

If streamyx call you, just tell them you already take UniFi. I used to have the same problem as you but I just tell them I already took UniFi when their call center call me for streamyx appointment.

then my Streamyx order will be cancelled?

Thanks mate.. drool.gif

You sure is RM189? With our without free call?
*
They are such offer like RM169,179 & 189 for ADV30 but this price only last for 2 years only. The price will go back to RM199 after the contract finishes.

Yes. Before the installer come, TM call center will call and ask for appointment time. In that time, just tell them you already took UniFi. If the installer still come, just don't open door. They can't charge you for anything because they didnt install anything and you didnt use that service. Bills and penalty will only be charged when you started using their service.

Ok, if I have a bunch of fixed line phones around the house, how would the installer enable me to get both fixed line phones and unifi working? My concern for this is the prices - once off and monthly~ tq

It would be okay for one number with many many ports but it would not be okay with two number with any amount of telephone ports. By the way, UniFi uses Fiber optic cable to deliver internet to your house, not phone line. And after the phone line would be plugged to your modem.

UniFi: Fiber optic cable-> ONU(modem)-> Router\Phone

Normal Phone Line: Telephone pole -> House phone ports

When the signal is converted from UniFi to phone, it will be the same as a normal phone line signal. When they both meet, they will start to cause conflicts. Just imagine there's a bridge for one person only and how can you ask two person to walk together? It is imposiible no matter how much money you have to ask the installer to do this.

TM are real retards. The single most important thing they should not screw up on their website, they literally screw it up: bill payment.

Total imbeciles.

Lastly, he told me I need to go TMPoint to sign a 2 year contract for Streamyx, processing time would be 1 week.
Your own post already answers your own question
You haven't sign anything, that means the contract hasn't started yet

Just continue with the UniFi sign up
Nothing to worry about

i Felt like it is a trap bangwall.gif
Imagine my friend is using VIP5 but never accept their phone call offer to 10mbps or 30Mbps
But he now got FREE upgrade to 10Mbps with the price RM149!.
I feel it is a conspiracy from tm which force us to pay more!
I would suggest those not yet upgrade especially rm149@5Mbps pls remain your current package unless they offer u faster speed with the SAME price.

Whats the maximum speed offered for apartment residents now? Is it still capped at 30mbps, or can get the 50/100mbps already?
