All call to upgrade for free to Advance plans will have contract refreshed.
VIP20 to Advance 50, will not be Advance 30.

Two BTU, everything two sets. My housemate has her own account, I have mine.

The BTU in my Auntie's restaurant has 4 Ethernet ports. Lan 1 is not used. Guess it's reserved for UniFi. Lan 2 & 3 are used for her 2 accounts from Ohana.

It is the offer to the loyalty customer. They deserve that. But I need that too...

Paying RM 179 for 30Mbps, I'm quite contented.

I've been avoiding the offer to 'upgrade' from VIP10 to Advance 30 plan... Worth the wait. 

Still new, might be some time before they give 'free' upgrade... 
Me too. A lot of uploading...  20mbps upload IS worth it. 

actually , it was original  5Mbps only 
luckily ,after couple months it launch,
they  upgraded the upload speed from 5Mbps to 10Mbps officially..

just forget about 30Mbps upload, it won't happen nearly or never happen. 

upgrade to 100Mbps package will have alot faster upload speed.

Kindly be informed that the speed of Unifi service is based on "best effort" policy. "Best effort" describes a service that is provided without any service level assurance.

Unifi subscribers should receive at least 80% of the subscribed speed within TM domain and subject to certain factors. If the speed falls below 80%, TM will investigate it as a fault and restore the connection accordingly.

However, based on attachment provided we found that you have received 80% of the subscribed speed.

Guess what, no matter how details u ask there will be always something u have no idea to ask. Just checked with them, the hypptv come with 12 months contract while the unifi come with 24 months, (other services they provided also come with contract). Terminate more than 1 year but less than 24 months u are not penalized for the hypptv...this make more sense, the front counter staff just not professional enough to say I need to pay >RM1k to terminate.

8Mbps is 80%, so can't really complain. Sigh...

Yes, few months ago still 32Mbps. I don't torrent, only streaming. Anyway, I'm not alone so can live with it since I'm using it alone.

haha. thanks. i also hope to get a fast Internet soon. I cannot stand the slow Internet speed that I am using currently. 

30Mbps for 10 to 15 persons I think it is not too little actually. Even most business they much slower speed to be shared among even more ppl. Like 75Mbps to be shared among 12k to 15k ppl.

But of course comparing to country lion city, 30Mbps is seriously nothing as the base Internet speed is already 100Mbps (which costs as well as RM120 equipvalent in price) there. But I am glad that TM has at least had the option of 100Mbps for user to choose from.

2Mbps streamyx that I am using now is terrible considered that it is year 2016 now. 

dun buy the wireless repeater or wireless extender. for these devices you actually need to place very near to the the original wireless router that provides the Internet connectitivy, at least within the coverage. So the place where you can place the these repeaters or wireless extenders are very restrictive. End up you may not really get a pleasant coverage still for the entire house.

Suggest you try to use the homeplug, but in order to use this u need to have a free power socket (with no extension plug). Alternatively, buy those homeplugs that support AC-passthru so that you can use both the home plug while use the same power socket for power to other devices you need to plug.

Good thing about homeplug is that it is using the electricity wiring to transmit data, so you can plug in to any powerplug within your house as you wish, it does not need to be within the wireless coverage as your original wireless router like those wireless repeaters or extenders.

It comes with wired/wireless two types of home plug. if you buy those wireless home plug, it turns into a wireless repeater or extender to your existing wireless network.

you need to buy minimum 1 pair of home plugs to start with, one will be function as master, this is to connect to your existing wireless router, so you will place this next to your wireless router and you can just connect this master to the ethernet port of your wireless router. Normally master one the wired type will be sufficient.

Slave is the one just that wil link to your master via electricity, this one you can choose wired/wireless depending on your need. And different models support different speed etc, choose the one meets your need. Normally if you buy the wireless type, it will come with one extra ethernet port, so you can use it to connect to a device such as desktop that uses wired connection for stable and faster speed. At the same time, this slave home plug will function as a wireless repeater/extender for all your other wireless devices to connect to it.

If your house is big, you can buy as many slaves as you want to cover the entire house.

My contract has been renew when I upgraded to unifi 50 , can I get a new router by contacting them ?
