I was so pissed off about it ..like you called the CS got the same answer, I banged the BTU a couple of times till it switched of itself and the fibre adapter became loose .. innocent.gif  serious...Kisah Benar!! then unplug the fibre cable from the wall socket ..leave it like that for few days since i kena outstation..then came back, thought of complaining to TM to replace the BTU, so I test first  and  it can switched on then out of the blues tested speed its back to normal  rclxub.gif  i'll be darned  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
*
I was travelling in overseas for more than half a month, came back also no improvement. Sigh. There are others who are also facing with this issue, so I can't complain much... Just swallow it lo.

My first home is using Alcatel BTU and its always hotter.

My second home is using Huawei BTU and its always cooler.

So I not sure whether its adapter issue or the device itself issue.
*
I doubt it is because of the adapter. So, yes device issue and probably environment too?
Good ventilation and all plays a role.

Isnt the power adapter is verified by TM themselves? The power adapter should not give any issues to us.
*
Well, if not, why they sent out replacement adapter for ALu BTU? smile.gif
It is for safety reason anyway, not for performance issue.

QUOTE(jolmy @ Jul 20 2016, 06:50 PM)
fruitie I remember some time ago you shared here that you no longer get 30Mbps or more, but only around 28Mbps. Is it still the same for you now?

Last night it seems TM did some maintenance and since then I have been getting IPv6 addresses from a different block 2001:e68:5444::/48 instead of 2001:e68:5416::/48, and even the IPv4 addresses come from blocks that I never get before.

And now, no matter how many times I reconnect, all my speed test also around 28Mbps, just like what you had last time.
*
I just replied to ad2000 about this... No, it has been months and I have not seen it more than 29Mbps... sad.gif

Yes, I guess your story will be the same as mine, no more 30Mbps but TM refused to admit it's their problem. I went back to hometown and came back, straight dropped to 28Mbps. Probably it had maintenance too when I was not in town...

QUOTE(VeeJay @ Jul 20 2016, 11:47 PM)
haaa...didnt realize you had purchased it...comparatively any difference in performance comparing both?
*
Managed to grab the almost last two units from Sri Computer on last Thursday. tongue.gif

If you ask me, honestly, both of them perform equally being RG4332 loses a bit on the WiFi signal. Previously I was using Xiaomi Nano router as AP (enabled WiFi) to couple with RG4332 (disabled WiFi) then only it worked well. However, now on standalone unit of WS880, the signal somehow still loses a tiny bit to Xiaomi Nano. laugh.gif

That said, still the convenience of using just one router and being such a good AC router, I have no regret for WS880. biggrin.gif

Why not? Just make sure your warranty isn't expired and claim that your tv box is not working well.

I don't have a TV set for myself and my LED monitor is for my laptop. I told the installer I have no intention to watch, so no need to install. tongue.gif

If you want, maybe you should "upgrade" to Huawei ec6108v8 brows.gif
*
Well, I want to upgrade too but I think TM will know I never even activate it, why suddenly need to "upgrade" it... sweat.gif Is it much much better than the current one?
