Definitely one of the best purchases for UniFi users. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(G K Lai @ Jul 16 2016, 02:19 AM)
Hi all,

Can I know what is the problem of this?

I try to visit the website: http://www.mi.com/my/
But most of the time, I cannot reach it.
All browsers that I use give me this error message:
    Invalid URL
The requested URL "http://%5bNo%20Host%5d/my/", is invalid.
    Reference #9.f561b3a.1468605994.205b1f2c

I have no problem ping test www.mi.com though.
May I know is there a problem with my setting?

I'm using Google's DNS, if that helps?

EDIT:
I want to add that, I said "most of the time" because sometimes I can visit the page without problem, this error is random. Most of the time I got this error with the site.

*
I have no issue and I'm also using Google DNS. smile.gif

Just tried, other device (phone) is ok, I think it's my PC's ipv6 screwed up? Just now try again on PC, cannot visit the site, then temporary disable ipv6 from within Windows, can visit the site. Enable ipv6 back on, the problem seems gone for a while now.  rclxub.gif

Actually I was using IPv6 to try and just tried, also no issue. smile.gif

Use common sense please
The only reason why they said that is because it makes their job easier

Not sure it is a myth or fact. I don't face issue with IPv6 enabled or disabled. Both work as what they supposed to.

Everyone knows this fact and do you guys think if we have a choice, we will choose UniFi? doh.gif doh.gif

If I really want to say, I find TIME also not worth to be compared to SG's broadband services. Even to compare with China broadband services, I was enjoying 200Mbps in Beijing in 2014 and my friend only pays less than RMB 100, so TIME is also expensive.

Come on la, common sense a bit.

I'm afraid there is wrong setting at my side?  cry.gif
Could be my PC or router's setting then...  cry.gif

I don't know how many other sites I will not able to visit, just tried again with this problematic http://www.mi.com/ in my case, still stated "Invalid URL". Then I go to Windows' Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Ethernet Properties and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), I can open the site immediately. If I check (tick) back this protocol, I can still open the site, but after maybe 10 minutes or so, I got Invalid URL again.  bangwall.gif

If that's the case, then just disable IPv6, no big effect for now.

I just did a test at http://ipv6-test.com/, everything seems to be good except those 2 items in Hostname. What should I do to rectify this?

Er, sorry I'm not knowledgeable in this area and I just ran the similar test on mine, my results are exactly the same as yours.

Can't you post here or anything? If you want to, can't just ask him to PM you instead of just posting two characters. And again why can't post it here, not like it's a secret trade. It benefits others too.

I really need to re-assess everyone's post here which sometimes are obvious spam. Don't make it sound as if I make it difficult for you, I don't have issues with other forummers but just a very handful of forummers here.

laugh.gif That said my personal experience with TM is they have improved quite a lot, I think the SLA for each case's resolution is 2 working days. Based on the advertisement, if customers shout like that in TM Point then their cases probably can be prioritized. laugh.gif

why only hot tempered customers will get the high priority....they educate customer to go and shout at tm point laa tu haiyaaa mad.gif ......its funny tho the case settle immediately. now even tho we report to mcmc it would take atleast 2 working days right?
*
Last time my report to MCMC also took 2 working days and my recent case with TM also 2 working days. The guy which attended to my request saying they will need to close each case within 2 working days. So I guess that improves a lot. Not sure if it follows complexity of the case or not.

does the call 1300-88-1221 still valid?

Nope. When you call, they will tell you no longer valid.
100 using your fixed TM line (free) or 03-2241 1290 if use mobile or from overseas (chargeable).

QUOTE(jolmy @ Jul 17 2016, 11:39 PM)
now can call 03-2241 1290? That's even better!

I remember calling 1300888123 few months ago when my UniFI down for 2 weeks and end up paying more than RM20 for all the calls!!

I do remember 1300888123 is in lieu of 100 if calling from mobile.
*
All this while I call 03-2241 1290, never call any toll free no. smile.gif Even it says for overseas customers, anyone can call. I call all this while for my banks. It doesn't matter you call 100 or 03-2241 1290, it will still route to the same gateway.

Since I don't install my phone set, so I just my mobile phone to call and paid by company. laugh.gif These days a a lot of mobile phone packages come with free unlimited calls to local fixed no. laugh.gif

If you're using celcom, you can straight away use that 100 number... dunno about other telco though..  smile.gif
*
All telcos can call TM 100 but chargeable and not part of the free calls if you subscribe to any free calls package.
I supposed Celcom also charges that not free.
