Do you know if the monthly min RM10 reload for free 1GB HS internet must be performed within a calendar month or within the 30days quota reset cycle ?
*
The free 1GB quota is reset every 30 days based on the date you first activated it. You can top up any time to access the free data.

Sorry, confirm one more time pls.

I am using prepaid UMI20.

If my UMI20 package is still active but line is inactive...
I can still use data (send/receive WhatsApp, browse Internet) right?

And their 4G speed is ranked among the world worst 4G avg download speed...
Which mean intense competition among telco is not the best way..

I hope UMobile upgrades its infrastructures and network before upgrading their plans. Whata the point of giving double the internet quota when you can even use the internet?

Then that's misleading ads...
U need rm30 to stay active for 30days... Not rm10
*
R u referring to old umobile plan ? It is rm10 for 30days. For the old plan only.

so u rather have same plan for years, than various plans? mind u, upgrading infrastructure take years. how long is enough?
telcos like umobile & webe have to play it this way if they want to compete. they cant adopt strategies of traditional telcos like celcom, maxis and digi or they will lose out.

those telcos have start ahead advantages of infra and subscriber-base. smile.gif

Highly competitive market there..
Also I think got new entrant giving the incumbent telco run of their money.. So all the telco there really needs to give good offer..

We used to enjoy subscribed data even if the validity passive for prepaid.

With this new upgrade, not sure this trend will be continued or not.

I read through the t&c btw.

Umobile is giving 3x the data for UMI plans until 15th February? or is the new plan now?

Also, my UMI20 auto-renewed a couple days back, but I didn't get any bonus data - still 1.5GB until next month.

A bit sad as there's no increase in bandwidth quota for broadband package.

Hahaha, shall I print screen and show to u mobile if they ban my data during passive period? Just joking.

No choice, have to play by their rule. Thought to mnp to webe before 31 Dec. But now 10gb might sufficient for me atm.

I agree with the opinion of "extended" marketing tactic/gimmick but Umobile have been antagonizing other telcos for the past 2 years. We wouldn't be seeing lower rates and better internet plans if not for the antagonized telcos. biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif

still remember in the 3g beginning phase where M vs C vs D

and D's past aggressive promotion really antagonize the other 2, leading our late minister did not even want approve 3g license to Digi and Digi had to get it from 'backdoor' through other telco . (thanks to digi who brought up prepaid pack fight from maxis hotlink RM238 per pack till market RM8.80 per pack that time...)

now fengshui changed, it is now u who doing the same job devil.gif

May i know, is there any contract for prepaid user ?

I just port in recently (13/12/2016).
However notice my working area signal are very weak (either no service or E).

I request to port to #hotlink, but rejected by umobile....
