Hi,

I will be travel to Taiwan next month and plan to use the U Mobile RM10/day roaming.

Just want to know is there any minimum balance requirement to use the roaming service overseas ?

If my credit balance is RM50 can I use it to purchase the RM10/day roaming pass over 5 days there ?

Do I need to send out any sms to purchase the data pass before I turn on the mobile data? Or it is it will be auto under RM10/day roaming data pass once I turn on the Mobile data at Taiwan ?

TQ

If you are prepaid, you just have to turn on your data and RM10 will be automatically charged and you wouldn't incur any charges anymore in that day. Make sure you are roaming on selected partner or else you can't activate data roaming.

Anyone currently subscribing to the prepaid in kk?

Was trying out the new plan and got 2 prepaid to try out if it's any better than digi 2 weeks ago
At first just reloaded rm10 to get the free 500mb was it and initially first few days was decent but then at times the network would simply gone from lte, 3G, E then no signal and the location is not some remote place but in the middle of Kk town itself

Tested different devices just to make sure ranging from ipad iOS 9 to iPhone ios8 and android
So I figured maybe should subscribe to an Internet plan and got the Im20 for 1.5gb if I'm not mistaken
Still the same problem random signal lost no matter where I am in Kk area (non remote) I'm trying hard not to simply give up but no matter digi which I am using both prepaid and postpaid still offers the best coverage
Or I should had gone for the postpaid plan instead haven't try customer service maybe I should ? Lol anyway when it's stabile the speed is good even better at times since playing vainglory doesn't give me bad pings unlike digi though not always
Any input is kindly appreciated thanks

Well still a lot of ppl will stay with others like maxis or celcom. The reason is always the same. Umobile coverage not good. So let them stay with maxis

Hello guys wanna ask smth.
My friend use umobile, I think she use the one with unlimited youtube streaming. If she make it as hotspot and I use it to watch youtube, will I use her mobile data or I will still use her 'free unlimited youtube streaming'? I don't want to accidentally use her mobile data. Thanks.
