hmmmmmm how can I say ah...
ok DUKE, otw to ampang. the long right corner just before wangsa maju exit. road is slightly bumpy.

rocco, medium suspension. i can pull 200kph no problem. car is stable. feels planted on the road.

felali 430. anything higher than 200 and can feel the car flying a bit.
what I can say is that it's just not designed for the common malaysian road. rocco smoothes out the bumpiness so much that I use soft suspension setting for my daily drive.
basically, the car feels more balanced. kinda like if you pit mx5 vs a felali on the same road. the feeling of accelerating in corner vs braking in corner affects your driving experience so much. after all msian road nak laju mana sangat.

do they practice this back in German? because i know Europeans might be rich, but they are really cost conscious. and their education background is higher & customer power is way bigger there and they have strict court that will issue big fines for these improper business conducts.

malaysians, gullible carrot cake.

there aren't many VW owners who has owned a VW other than the old Beetle long enough to know the issues.

only now problems starts popping up because many VW owners reaching the 5 years mileage.

but we never hear Audi owners complain so much? I'm sure Audi has as much problems as VW & the cost to repair & replace is much more than VW, and Audi's been around Malaysia much longer than VW, and has been using high tech stuffs like DSG for more than 10 years. They just sell off their old Audis and buy a new Audi.

at RM52k the service center clearly does not want to fix the problem for you, they are either lazy or just don't know how to fix it, they basically force the victim to void his warranty by sending else where repair.

it's fucking stupid though, how are the cables so exposed that rats can go in and chew it, first time even hear something like this, i can leave my 10 yr old busted toyota (spare car) out there not driven for a week and it'll still run just fine.

if anything, maybe can sue for bad design.

I think most Malaysian expectations is expensive = good = high class = reliable.

Unfortunately for cars, the only standard is to go for Japanese if you're looking for reliability and maintenance cost.

That's the problem when service and car sales both are profit center. Both need to make money. Consumer die.

totally agree with takadanicklagi on this, it never bodes well for the brand when they split the service centres from the sales unit.

IMHO basically at this point VW is just selling off their old models at mad discounts then when something happens they quote you some stupid price to recover back some of the profits that were lost. So it's really up to your luck if you got a car in good condition which is technically unethical but not necessarily illegal.

Reminds me of Savvy AMT where Proton insist to replace the whole thing (RM10k+) rather than fix the root problem itself (less than RM1k maybe).
