And VGM says if you do outside, vehicle warranty would be void so either accept the repair cost or risk doing outside and forgo warranty.

So for those who thought they got a good deal with the recent "cheap" Passats, what would you do if you're the owner?

in all seriousness, really need to change the whole wiring harness meh? cant they just splice the affected wire, solder n heatshrink it? that car wiring really that manja meh?

Wah the wires cost half of the car?

I thought engine and gearbox is the most expensive parts in a car...

Just trace the open circuit and connect with whatever method possible.
